I fully expect Madara to wipe the floor with the depleted alliance troops in from of him. Onoki is as good as dead at this point, and everyone else is in deep shit as well. This is the first time since Gedo showed up with Tobi that the alliance is shitting bricks. Even the past Kages didn't bring about the reaction that Madara did.

Saying that, I find it weird that Madara is the only ninja brought back from his era. What happened to the 1st Kages aside from Hashirama? I'd imagine they would all be very powerful as well.

Also, Madara has to be Izuna, there is no other person that he could be, as in there is no one else that makes sense.

And let us not forget about Sasuke and Itachi. Itachi is either going to be headed for Kabuto or Tobi, and I'm going to guess that Sasuke is headed from either the alliance HQ or the real Naruto.

That's the thing. We all know have a good idea as to where everyone is heading except Sasuke. I expect to see him soon. What about Taka? When Madara heads towards the hq, will they fight against him? If Madara attacks the hq and Sasuke appears and saves the day, this will pretty much clean his slate with the entire Kage fiasco, even if they don't want to admit it. They wouldn't want someone who defeated MADARA UCHIHA TO BE THEIR ENEMY!! I am shaking just thinking about what Madara is going to do!!! It better be epic!! But i expect to see that Katon first!!

STRANGE theory:

"THERE IS NO UCHIHA MADARA"

hear me out on this one... the idea came to me not too long ago that possibly tobi is right. the first time he called himself that was in the hidden rain when he adressed Nagato and Konan.. he said"MY Power, Uchiha madaras power"

I think it could be possibly that UCHIHA MADARA is just an idea created by tobi and his brother izuna... maybe tobi's real name is tobi uchiha. they wanted to take control and unite a young and growing uchiha clan and figured out an incredible scheme.. Just like how those identical twins in the movie "The Prestige" did it, tobi and izuna created Uchiha madara out of thin air... they would then take turns pretending to be that person from time to time... quickly growing a reputation among the Uchiha clan and the rest of the world....

imagine for a minute that the uchiha was in a fierce battle against lets say the uzumaki clan... Tobi would put on the Uchiha madara outfit and go out and start fighting allongside his uchiha bretherin... after maybe 8 hours of nonstop battle he switches with Izuna who then go rite to the front lines again and continues battle for another 10 hours.... to all the ppl there both uchiha and non uchiha this man would be looked at as being godly to continue on battle for so long
-and so the legend began
-why would they do this.... hmmm lots of reasons... fame... money... women.. control of an entire clan....
-it was stated that they united the uchiha under one banner.... so maybe they were just fed up with the constant in-fighting in the uchiha for power and wanted to unite the clan... and then after that their goal turned to world dominace... who knows... in the end its just a THEORY... fell free to critisize or coment

but i actually like the idea that Uchiha madara is just a figment of our imagination... a genjutsu of deception created by tobi and his brother to decive all of us. maybe one of them died in the hasirama fight and the other lived on to try to find a way to resurect his bro. and with all the lies that tobi has told so far him and his bro probably swapped eyes and both got ems activated in each of them.

Some where i read obito....but why? Why cant it be somebody new?

If its Madaras brother then his one cold bastard, and an idiot. Any announcements on when will naruto wrap up?

Well that most obvious answer is that Kishi didn't let him say it to add to the suspense.

Other than that, it could be that Tobi simply wishes to be Madara despite the fact that he never was. If he is indeed Izuna like he said he was, he could have love or hated his brother so much because he was more known and stronger that he wished to be him.

Also, if he really is Madara, why the hell didn't he remove his mask after announcing who he was in front of the Kages? Makes little sense as well, no?

Even if Madara's soul was split in half, and part of him is in Tobi, why wouldn't Madara's other half know about it? And why wouldn't Tobi want to regain the rest of his soul?

There is a big difference between not saying something and repeatedly saying something. Tobi has repeatedly stated that he is Madara, both to those who he has killed and to those who he just chatted with. If he himself had never said who he was and let other people come to the conclusion that he must be Madara then thats a different story. However like i said, he has openly said who he is and talked about his past and history. Which Kishi has shown through the eyes of Uchiha Madara. It doesn't make sense to say that Kishi didn't want Tobi to spoil the suspense that he was an imposted when in every single one of his flashback Tobi is shown as Madara. And as far as the mask goes, well that is an obvious "troll" by Kishi. Just like how it was when everyone thought that Tobi only had one Sharingan or one eye. And that there was some big secret hidden in the other eye.

We have all seen both of his eyes and the upper half of his face. The only reason i can think of to keep Tobi's face hidden is to keep the mystery of his body hidden. Which as we know is no ordinary body, and as we also know Tobi like to change eyes like pairs of sun glasses. So there is something strange about that body that Kishi wants to keep a secret for a bit longer. But as far as Tobi being an imposer and Kishi wanted to build the suspense by not having him reveal his name, doesn't just make sense. What is Kishi gonna do if it isn't Madara? Go back and explain how and why he was drawn/shown as being Madara in his own mind and his own flashbacks throughout the manga? Thats definitely not gonna work. You can't build suspense about someones identity by hiding half of their face yet still letting the readers see who that person is when they are having their own flashbacks.

Perhaps Tobi is Obito.. maybe after Obito supposedly died in the cave.. Black Zetsu found him and merged with Obito's functioning half minus one sharingan, then with all of Zetsu's knowledge he created White Zetsu and was able to create functioning limbs, and they both separated to what they have become today.. kinda far-fetched but the only way I can see the Obito theory work out. What's certain is that Zetsu is involved in this more than we all know so far. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I can see why you may think that way, however stating that he is Madara would not lack purpose.
Through this lying (if he is lying) he would be doing many things that could be useful for him.
1/ People are insanely scared of Madara - so the potential that he is who he says he is would strike fear into their hearts.
This also has the added benefit of making people fight worse against him, as people who are scared will often make mistakes that they otherwise would not make otherwise.
2/ By people thinking he is Madara it hides who he actually is - Therefore should he have any weaknesses then people would not know to exploit them as they would be fighting him as if he is someone else.
Also, should Tobi have been a well known ninja in the past (and not Madara), then people may already know of his weaknesses and therefore by hiding himself and making them think he is Madara then they will not exploit these weaknesses.
3/ Being someone as well respected (not loved, but you know what I mean) as Madara would give him more credibility - therefore when he demands things to the Ninja alliance, then they are more likely to take his demands seriously then if he was some random ninja.
4/ If he wasn't Madara, then people would not know of his past (whatever that may be). This would mean that people would not be able to use anything to blackmail/try to control Tobi (like a son/wife/village/whatever) - though this point is probably not very likely, it is still one reason why he would want to make people think he was someone else.

There is also the possibility that he actually believes he is Madara when he isn't, however this would be a really strange twist to throw in at this point in the manga. - especially as it has been hinted that Tobi (if he wasn't Madara) had been closely working with Madara when he was alive/Madara knows of Tobi (so Tobi should know of Madara).

People think he's behind all of this because the first thing he says when he comes out of the coffin is that Nagato did great to manage to ressurect him.

With this said, it takes us back to when Tobi was pissed off because of Nagato using his Rinne tensei for the Konoha village as he expected Nagato to use it for him.

Back then we couldnt understand why and how Nagato was supposed to use his Rinne tensei for him aka Tobi but now adding this to Uchiha Madara's statement it makes a lot of sense.

Madara and Tobi or whatever he is planned to control Nagato into reviving Uchiha Madara.


Kishi has built too much of this plot arround Madara to throw it all away by making the great master a fodder ninja we dont give a s$%t about....

why cant he be obito??? What makes u think obito couldn't have become strong?? ITachi was strong at 14-15 and so was sasuke. Obito said that he wanted to crush the shinobi world. What is tobi doing????? HE is crushing the shinobi world!!! lol. Lets not forget the orange similarities! ANd the fact tobi WAS SHOWN right after kakashi gaiden ended. ANDDDD the robe tobi had when he fought minato looked bigggg WHYYY?? Because obito was still a kid llol.

I don't it's a problem that he wouldn't be able to become strong...but why would he want to destroy everything he stood for...He loved his villeage.
If Tobi would destroy Konoha and someone would said that Tobi is Obito then Cop would said...."There's no motive" :P

People need to stop with this obito stuff. Maybe I should sum it up before people realise how stupid the theory is.

Obito was a non-special uchiha kid who was afraid, cried and had no special traits. He was 13? when he died and half the height of minato when he died. According to you guys, in that small time frame, obito grew up to be as tall as minato while kakashi stayed the same height, could wield a space time jutsu more advanced than minato's, could kill anbu's, bypass barriers and could control the kyuubi.

Read that and tell yourself again that that makes total sense..........

what i think is this. two types of resurrection exist
1. inpure world resurrection
2. rinnengan resurrection

somehow i think both was used and so each body has 2 halves of one soul.

There is one thing that bugs me tho'.

We all know how edo tensei works. A sacrificial body is needed as a vessel for the soul. The body then takes the form and shape of which that soul views(ed) itself.

But when nagato revived the people in konoha their souls just return to their original body. Where would the soul go if the body didn't exist anymore? Wouldn't he still need a replacement dead body?

I hear about how long izanagi-jutsu works, but it has never been stated in the manga, has it?
When tobi used it against konan, he "was" gone for 10 min.
Here come my thoughts:

Tobi can teleport to another dimension for 5 min and then he had to teleport back, used izanagi and teleported again. Just a thought, but it could also be that he can use thatjutsu for more then 10 min.

most certainly a bit of those two solutions: madara's brother sacrificing his own body and soul to prepare for madara's return.
what is certain is that madara had a plan to survive back then, his brother was part of the plan, they both whant revenge, and something didnt went according to the plan

no caus his ressurection jutsu is the same thing that also repairs his pin body's so guess he can recreate the body wich the soul belongs to if necessary

I don't think that is the case. If Tobi doesn't have a direct relation to Madara and indeed is the Rikkodou's son, why would he use Madara's name in the first place? When he was declaring the war, he could just say that he was the elder son. Surely, Rikkodou's son has more juice/fame than Madara and Tobi wouldn't gain something by calling himself Madara.
So for all we know, he is either Madara himself/his clone or someone less famous than Madara.

Izuna didn't die from giving Madara his eyes, he died sometime later fighting on the battlefield.

What the hell did he do on the battlefield with no eyes?

Pretty sure Kabuto has some powerful Edo Tensei for his personal protection: it would be stupid as well if he didn't.

Then again, he's not exactly the brightest guy in this war...

this is what I said and what I'm sure about! when someone will reach kabuto,he will summon some zombies to protect him,not as strong as nagato,itachi and others but they will be strong. I think they are jiraiya,sakumo,danzo and kushina.
