Ability Name: Azure Force
Secondary Name: Dance Of The Azure Rose
Summary: Well I can throw around blue fire as I please, my if I come in contact with fire created naturally I get a 2x Aura boost. If I come in contact with flames created by another's aura I get a 4x Aura increase. Then if I receive a killing blow my aura can rise up from my body and attack at full force.
Conditions to use:
1) I have to train my ability at least once every day or I'll lose my nen. By increasing my aura I have to find a small source of fire, and practice transmuting it in silence for an hour.
2) I must not speak of my ability through my own mouth. If someone understands how it works that's fine, but I can't explain any of it.
1.) I can't harm anyone who doesn't have ill intent towards me. Or my aura will come back and harm me.
2.) I can't absorb a flame larger than my own En. Which only stretches for a quarter of a mile.
First rule is not even worth to list it. Every technique must be trained. Second rule is not related to the technique. Rules are always related to how it works. Most of your technique doesn't depend on your mouth to work or words, so it doesn't make any sense since it can be figured out while fighting quite easily.
1) What if you want to defend someone else?
2) Seems reasonable.
And all this granted that you can resist your own flames so you're used to be burn or tortured with burning like Killua.
Necromancer's ritual (Emission, transformation):
-Affects target when he/she is within x radius of the casting point (the area of effect), x being the user's maximum En radius. Activation requires ritualistic chanting and ceremony (gestures). The ceremony may be interrupted, and resumed after interruption. Completion of the ceremony results in activation, whereby any target within the area of effect is enclosed in a shroud of darkness dimly lighted by candle fire. Within the area of effect, the user can freely manipulate space (shortening and lengthening distances) up to 50 meters at a time, however doing so must not result in the target becoming within less than 5 meters of the target. This is to prevent the user from reaching (and presumably therefore also hitting) the target instantaneously whenever they are within 50 meters of each other.
Hand of Putrescence (emission, manipulation, transformation)
This ability activates only when the user's hand is placed over the target's forehead. Upon activation, part of the target's Soul s absorbed by the user. The longer the user remains in contact with the target, the more soul is absorbed (proportionally).
Abomination (transformation, manipulation, reinforcement)
Soul absorbed by Putrescent Hand transforms into physical (not Nen) demons. The demons share the characteristics of the target (in terms of ability and exhibiting a minor, bastardized form of his hatsu) as they are formed by his soul. These demons harbor an inexplicable hatred for the target and will attack him relentlessly (generally by trying to eat him). However, the demons expend the target's Nen in attack, defense and simply to fuel their existence. Should the target run out of Nen he will find himself transformed irreversibly into a demon, a mindless monster that consumes any living creature exhibiting Nen. Should the demons successfully kill and consume the target, they too will die.
I don't think it is possible to have abilities with multiple types, especially ones that are far away from each other (like manipulation and transformation). Also I think the way you are controlling the space in the first one means that it is probably a manipulation skill. I am really not sure how it is emission or transformation. Maybe I am misunderstanding the ability itself.
For the second one, what do you exactly mean by "absorbing a soul". I would think that it would basically means to kill the target. If that so, what does partially absorbing it mean?
This would probably be specialization skill, since I don't know where it would belong.
The third one is kind of too overpowered. You are using a demon that uses the target's nen to attack him, and then turn him into a demon himself. I think that it is a bit too much, or might need some conditions.
Since this creates a real demon and not changing your nen, I would assume that it is a materialization skill. Although I am not sure if you could materialize creatures.
The second and third probably would work together as a specialist's ability, but it would need more conditions for sure. The first one by itself has a really cool concept, but I don't see it as part of the rest of them. It would be too much for one person to have both of them (referring to first one by itself and second with third as another).
As for the first ability, i figured it was emission because the Nen space is emitted from a certain point and affects a certain area and it is transformation because it is the space within the Nen space that is affected. My understanding is that manipulation only affects physical things like people and objects, rather than Nen. Although in my opinion, the Nen space could also be conjuration (like Novu's ability). Well, more thinking required on my end on this point, that's for sure.
It's just flavor. I call it soul but it could be anything else - basically it's the stuff that's used as the "building blocks" for the demons. It could be anything to be honest, like blood, but i figured it would be too easy. Here, to obtain the target's soul, the user must put his hand over the target's head. Since the user is not a combat class this is supposedly a fairly difficult condition to clear and only made possible because the 1st ability allows him to manipulate space to safely close the distance (or extend it to avoid attacks/counter attacks).Quote:

I also consciously decided that it was manipulation because the 3rd ability is the creation of a real creature, not a Nen based one (think of it as a chemical process augmented by Nen). Apparently, you were right. It is possible to use multiple types for your ability. I was just looking at Kastro's abilities, and he was able to materialize his "double" and manipulate it while being enhancer. But according to Hisoka, that was the reason that he lost. He ignored his type.
So that raises a question. What type are you (or the user of those abilities) going to be?
We might be able to come to a better conclusion after understanding the main hatsu type.
I had the same confusion with my ability as well. I am not sure what manipulators can, and cannot control (like space and minds and whatnot).
That does make sense actually. If the second ability doesn't do anything but takes his "soul", which doesn't really affect the target, then it could be the condition for your third ability (which could be your main one).Quote:

The one thing that I think needs looking at is that your demon consumes your target's nen. It is like the target is fighting himself/herself, he/she and the target are both using the same nen. I don't see any chance of winning.
Maybe you need one more condition in order to activate the demon (other than the hand on forehead), or 'nerf' the ability a bit.

-if the bomb exceeds a certain size, it blows up on your fist, obviously hurting you (max size can be increased with lots of training)
so if you punched very fast repeatedly, your be shooting many small bombs, or you can charge up for a big one, but if you forget to turn the skill off or try and charge too long, you blow up
both hands operate independently of each other, so you can fire with one hand very fast, while charging the other up for a big bomb

Does the bomb itself has anything to it? Like when it hit, does it explode or just does a blunt impact?
I think it could be improved by adding additional effects with some conditions maybe. Pretty cool nonetheless.
Im thinking it might be just blunt damage like the volleyball dude's ball, cuz to explode, you would need the transmute the emitted aura into an explosive, and emmiters arent that good with transmution
but maybe if the exploding on yourself condition is powerful enough (so much so, that a big explosion could damage you very badly) then it would explode for every shot (but explosion strength would be proportional to size of bomb)

like: "Im goin to punch you in the face"
and then you punch the guy in the face and its reinforced
the more details you give, the more powerful your reinforcement is:
"im goin to turning kick you on the right side of your torso" > "im goin to kick you in the body"
and a fun ability:
dets: You can transform your aura into a "taste"
-can only transform into things you have tasted before
-the aura would have both taste and texture and it would feel like your eating the actual food mmmmmmmmmm
this would be for a gourmet hunter say they find and eat the perfect dish, they can then share it with people, and eat it whenever they want

Does it have any consequence? For example, if you do not do what you said you are going to (or didn't attempt at all), is anything going to happen?

the main consequence is, your basically bound to do the move you just said
actually, its now, if you deviate from the move you said, instead of reinforcement, u get a loss in power, that way, you could declare an attack, but trick the opponent and hit them, but you wont do much dmg
name: invisible maze
dets: you conjure a big maze/labyrinth around everyone in a certain area, that is hidden from plain sight with in (can be seen with gyo of course), everyone must feel or gyo/en their way out
when activated, the maze is conjured around whoever is within the set area of the maze,
-the maze's height will be set at triple the tallest person's height, and the walls will of course go all the way to the top, and there is a cover
-if you escape the maze, you are now unaffected by the conjured material, meaning, (from the people in the maze's point of view), you can pass through the maze's walls, but to the guy who got out, it will be like normal, and you will be able to see everyone affected by the maze, walking around like a bunch of idiots (sitting ducks).
-maze size scales up with number of people being put in the maze
-you must have touched everyone being affected (like cheetah dudes nen, but this can be done to multiple ppl)
-everyone must be within the range of the maze (size goes as follows: 1 person (excluding yourself)-100m^2, 2ppl is 200, 3ppl is 300, etc) (the maze will be centered at the user, and if someone untouched is within the range, then the nen will fail to activate)
-people outside of the range of the maze when activated aren't affected whether or not they have been touched, but you cannot enter the maze's volume (in hidden walls)
-maze is randomly generated
-I liked this idea at the start, but now its weird
I got the brutal honesty idea from my tkd master, who told us a story of an old action movie, where the guy was like "in 10 seconds, my foot is gonna be in your face and there not a goddamn thing you can do about it"

dets: you conjure a mask/face covering headwear of some sort, and say "colo telo rita" or whatever the fuck the music is, and start doin a basic dance, and music starts playing from the mask (everyone should be able to hear is, cuz yo volume betta be on max when u listenin to dis)
after ~14 seconds, it/you say(s) "then do the harlem shake", and shit goes crazzzy, and music plays, and you spazzzzz out
meaning: random shit will be materialized within a sphere of radius depending of your strength
-user has very limited control over the conjuration, like you may be able to conjure an anvil over the head of the opponent
-were talking crazy random shit poppin up and fallin down and its a fuckin mess
-dangerous things can be conjured at random as well, like spiky balls and knives and acid and lava and other things like poop and tables, and grand pianos
-this goes on for about 15 more seconds, and then the musics stops and all the conjured stuff de-materializes.
-for the shit to pop (stuff to be conjured), the first ~14 seconds cannot be interrupted (the dance or the music), if the opponent removes the headwear, the music stops, if you stop the basic dance, the music stops
once it says then do the harlem shake, you can do whatever, like grab a materialized thing and start wailin, or dance along, whatever u want
-once it has been used/attempted, it cannot be used for another minute and thirty seconds

I am not really getting the maze tho. Can't imagine how someone would use it to gain advantage.

Its hilarious, the compilation videos on utube show almost all the good ones
The maze is basically whoever gets out of the maze can move freely through the maze area, while the person still inside the maze (if not using gyo) can see the person but is still bound by walls, so if there happens to b a wall in between the two people, the trapped guy cant attack through it, while the free guy can
Basically whoever gets out first can kill the other, so its a crapshoot whether u win or not (depends on how good you are at lifesize mazes ). Gamblin with lives is fun
