I did not mean to say lucy plainly could not summon multiple spirits. We know she can summon several of them for about a second but so what? With the amount of time she can keep multiple spirits they would not even be able to complete an attack. What is the good of this? Its useless. Based on what we have seen it is not like silver keys consume a dramatically smaller amount of magic as silver key spirits seem to be powerful enough as it is (as I said, caellun took out two spirits at once). Just to please your overwhelming pickiness, "lucy cannot handle multiple spirits at once even if only with silver keys". Perhaps she could handle plue and another spirit but plue is useless in battle as it is. As she is right now I don't think she has the sheer magical power to summon multiple, useful combat spirits with a degree of power, she needs to dramatically increase her amount of magic.

You are full of it. If you're going to reference something make sure that you take the entire sequence into account. In the scene that you are referring to, when the spirit king comes forth at karen's grave, Loke actually goes out of the way to say that even Karen couldn't summon multiple spirits at once. Taking that into account one can assume that the spirits from the Celestial Zodiac take a significant amount of magical power to summon.
