1. 10: Oga vs. Aiba: By beelzebub's standards, its a good fight, its another delinquent who's pretty even with Oga in terms of strength. Or at least it looked that way as apparently Koma was helping him out. Now as for why this is dead last on the list, it isn't so much as that Koma helped him, but its that we don't get to see how the fight went afterwards. We see Aiba FLICK A DUDE WITH HIS FINGERS INTO THE AIR. We've seen him block a punch FROM TOJO! I simply cannot buy that Aiba was so over powered by oga after Koma left that we didn't even need to see it, I simply can't! It wasn't even Like Oga was going to use his supernatural strength anyway!
9:Aoi vs. the female pillar squad troops: Why is this fight on the list? because its one where she's NOT fighting Hilda, so she can finally have a true badass fight to show off her abilities. Her taking on so many enemies is already cool enough but she was also in complete control over the battle. The sad thing is that she got interrupted by a sudden appearance of one of the stronger members and after she teamed up with agiel we don't get to see how the rest of the fight played out. Nothing. not even a brief glimpse from Tojo since he had to pass through the room anyway. I know Beelzebub isn't a fight heavy series, and I really am glad it is, but even still, l just like a narrative a fight needs to have a clear beginning, Middle AND AN END DAMMIT!! you don't HAVE to make it five chapters, be overly complicated or anything just END it PROPPERLY!!
8:Tojo vs. Furuichi: TBH I don't like really quick fights unless its an outright curb stomping (look at any of hiei's fights in YYH and you'll see what I mean, or if you're kendema, Hilda's curbstomp moments) or are just completely batshit insane. but there are two reasons the fight is on this list: 1: it respected power levels well, beelzebub isn't exactly a fight heavy series, but after reading something like fairy tail, I GREATLY appreciate this. 2: THE CEILING BEING USED. Crazy Beelzebub fights, what can I say?
7:Oga vs. Furuichi(both in super form): This is one of the more recent fights and it brought back so much of the insane choreography that I love in beelzebub fights it had to be on a high spot on this list. Of course you all know I'm talking about that last bit where Furuichi fought with behemoth possessing him and pushed Oga to the point where he needed to use spermilktime(I don't care if blacktech is the oficial and cooler name, this is beelzebub and THY NAME SHALL BE SUPERMILKTIME!!) It was a very short moment, but short fights can be cool too.
6: Hilda vs. Satome: We finally got to see hilda fight seriously, and we also got to see an taste of what Satome could really do. In Brief it was a pretty good fight
5: Aoi vs. Hilda, anytime: *CRAPSHOT ALERT**CRAPSHOT ALERT* alright alright, but most of the fights between these two are pretty much the same, they share such a nice and even rivalry with each other (IN TERMS OF STRENGTH) that its hard for me to really choose. I suppose their first fight could be a definitive but I would like to see something where they both went all out. seeing how this is beelzebub its either not soon, or we'll never see it, but even still their run ins are nothing to be ignored.
4: Oga and Tojo vs. Jabberwock: This really could have been higher on the list, but I'll get to that in the moment. while it IS on the list is that Oga and Tojo surpsingly make a great team for combat as both went up against Jabberwock pretty well until the demon general got serious (is he a general or higher?) Then its pretty much Oga's fight but then its kind of why its lower than others. Its not like its a terribly bad fight, it wouldn't be on the list otherwise its just that for a boss fight, it was unnaturally rushed. That first chapter was good but then the next we seem to have condensed it and while you can go either way for its speed its just threw me off and I don't feel that the fight was as awesome as it could have been, a fight, like alot of other things, can only be so good without its end making or breaking it.
3: Tojo vs. Izuma and Graffel: Beelzebub is one of those series where its really hard to pick a fight that dosn't include the main character, but then there are times where there's just a flat out easy choice. Even though Tojo isn't flat out winning the fight by any stretch of the imagination, the fight won this spot for me in regards to the fact that tojo was able keep fighting against red herring half demon Izuma, and fight UNCONSIOUSLY against graffel (at least I think that’s his name, the squad are like bleach shinigami for me I don't remember or care for most of them). It really shows just how much MORE of a battle demon Tojo is than Oga, and he doesn’t even have the supernatural support. (is it yet or nothing at all? ANSWER US RYUHEI!!). A monstrous struggle indeed.
2: Oga vs. Ens 3 guards (yeah I forgot their names, bite me): Of all the supernatural fights in beelzebub this one is my all around favorite, while not as awesomely gimmicky as other powers the one Oga displayed when he took out the first guard fit him perfectly and supermilktime was, and still is, the best superpowered form Him and Beel could have asked for, especially because it lets beel go all out crazy with oga's body and made for some of the most insanely awesome battle cerography I've ever seen. Also, every good fight has to have its ending and DAMN did this one please. Its a damn shame the anime version of this fight sucked total balls(that was really where I officially gave up on it)
1: Oga vs. Tojo round 2: Yes its the most obvious choice, but to paraphrase youtuber 'gigguk', If it was so damn obvious it would be #1 then that’s saying SOMETHING.
When I was first reading beelzebub there were ALOT of things I felt this series was doing right, and this fight is one of them, a true fight between two strong as bull delinquents and almost no supernatural abilities being tossed around, hell oga flat out DENIED the power up, and that in my opinion was badass and alot better than Oga's joke form of it when he fought Jabberwock. While this was also one of the few times the anime didn't completely botch the fight with punch poses, it still fails to capture the grit and damage these two were exerting, its what really draws you into the fight and what REALLY makes that ending all the more amazing. Fights after it have come close, but never did they reach this degree of awesome.
