Tsunade's role, Oonoki's and the future of the Kage's future in the next 10 chapters.

I think the only role she can play is to use her mass healing jutsu. No way she can actually deal with strong opponents, especially with undead bodies. She was next to useless against Orochimaru who was quite in a bad shape, but her punches won't make any difference. I believe she will be even more suicidal that against Pain.

I'll be surprise if he survives the next chapter.

Honestly, I know that Tsunade is on her way, and that she's the best healer ever, but I DON'T want her to save Ooniki.
We at least need one casualty in this war, otherwise that's just going to be freaking stupid.

I think that Tsunade will have a big role in the upcoming chapters because Madara will understand that she's Hashirama's and Mito's grand-daughter.
And, I'm expecting some talks and maybe a flashback of Madara and Hashirama, and we'll understand their relationship a bit better.
Maybe there was even some kind of love triangle with Mito...

I don't know if she'll fight or not, but I certainly hope so, and I hope she will show some really great skill...
I wouldn't be surprise if she can even pull off some Mokuton.

It's the end for Oonoki, that's for sure. He's the same character as Chiyo was. An old shinobi that lost sight of what's important but again saw light by the help of younger generation. He will save this generation with everything he can. Tsunade will confront Madara somehow, I suspect. Since she's a direct descendant to Hashirama, Madara won't risk taking her lightly, even though he'd probably wipe the floor with her.

Hmm, let's answer these questions one by one.

- To save Oonoki and die in his place?

Oonoki is going to die. Being the last vanguard of the old regime, it is about time for him to go out in a blaze of glory. So Tsunade is not going to make it in time, even though she quickly returned to base after talking to Naruto. What's up with that?

- To defeat Edo Madara?

No way. Considering how feeble her attacks against Orochimaru and Kabuto were she's got no chance in hell of beating Madara. Tsunade shows great power on inanimate objects like walls and desks, but she sucks on moving targets. The only way Edo Madara will be defeated is probably by Itachi via Kabuto.

- To show off her true powers?

Such as? Besides double-G jugs she's really has not shown great promise as a front-line fighter. She's an excellent support fighter/medic but when it comes to fighting prowess she comes up short.

- Will Oonoki think he can take down Edo Madara and be randomly saved by Tsunade?

I think Oonoki will give us a great fight but I think he will go the way of Konan, someone who is way out of their league. I really think Tsunade is more likely to run into Dan and have a "what if..." conversation than meeting Madara on the battlefield.

My opinion is that thinking in ranges like 10 chapters is a bit wrong...the pace is really fast, so who knows what will happen in such a time-frame?

But I think Oonoki will and should die in the next chapter...I think this week's chapter was a clear build-up toward that end.

And Tsunade...well my expectation are high, but I'm sure I won't be satisfied...she is one of the most appealing characters for me(and I'm not referring to her own version of twin meteors), and has lots of potential, considering certain elements of this war, and has lots of potential as character...but I will refrain myself, and wait for future chapters to talk about this

I wish Kabuto could revive her grandmother, Uzumaki Mito & she will fight her. I wonder how strong Mito was & could she was equal or nearly as Madara/Hashirama level?

Tsunade is kind of a contradictory character, in my opinion. It's stated throughout the entire series that the next generation surpasses the previous one. However, O'onoki's son and his granddaughter don't possess the Dust Release, Tsunade pales in comparison to how epically broken Hashirama is, Shikamaru has a ways to go before he can surpass his father, Sasori was defeated by Chiyo, A's father lasted 3 days and nights against a freaking army yet A couldn't finish off Juugo, etc. Naruto is slowly but surely surpassing his father and there are other examples of the like but Tsunade should showcase some sort of epicness in this battle if anything on the fact that surpassing is a recurring theme in the manga. If she's Hashirama's granddaughter she must surpass him in some way. Maybe Kishimoto will finally show us what's she's capable of.

To be honest, right now I think Kishi is prepping all 5 Kages for a decent Shinobi-style death. Then the Juubi will be revived, Madara, Kabuto, and Tobi will be the final Villains (Together). Tobi will then force Naruto and Sasuke to fight. They're battle will be a draw, and they'll both be heavily exhausted. Tobi will extract the nine-tails, and then we'll have the onne unexpected character whom isn't naruto that ends up somehow defeating Madara, Tobi, and Kabuto...but it's just a wild guess.....Kishi is being unpredictable now-a-days... :

Whatever may happen.. I hope Kishi doesn't kill off Tsunade... without her, two huge parts of this Manga would suddenly be missing.

Hi ! I think the question is interessant, especially about Tsunade, because it started like she was ready to lost his life. We'll see next week what will happen I feel like she will die but I would hope not.

Tsunade is always a medic in the field. She even told her disciple that their role is not to engage the battle but to heal the wounded. She's going to just keep healing the other 4 kage's as they attack or get injure.

I don't think the Kage's have the power to quickly dispatch Madara, but they do have the endurance to keep him weak at bay and then give him a final blow to seal him.
