I'll give you props for this. Good find, man. I find these references awesome with the Alphabet's really matching most of the tattoos of the Pillars. I hope Tamura also use those element classification you mentioned. At least we know Tamura's doing his own research.

I am really surprised there is such a "list" of demons....in Japanese, no less. As for Hecadoth's symbol not matching his face, I'm going to assume that many the mangaka hadn't fully developed what the pillars where, let alone how they would be identified. Still, its nice that we can understand the mangaka's research, and he's basing it off of something real as oppose to trying to make it up from scratch.
Another thing I found cool is that Salamander's ability to create fire is also based on demonology. So, I give Tamura-sensei props for working within real demonic myths as oppose doing it to make it look "cool". Yeah.
This is pretty awesome, if only there was a way to tell the name of the missing pillar head.
