Wow, chapter 31 was full of win. First of all, this page was just too awesome. Shuu is too funny, him and tsugumi are definitely the most hilarious characters in this manga. Second of all, wtf? Another girl that's different then both? Seems like Raku is more of a player then we thought. Either that or Chitoge's natural hair color isn't blonde, which I doubt. I was hoping for another male character, but maybe we'll get another female character? Who knows, it could be one of those characters that are totally hooked on the main.

Nice plot twist at the end of 31, but the hilarity that ensued at McDonalds was the highlight for me this chapter. I'm sure we'll get an answer next chapter if Ichijou would just go up to his father and ask who the heck this girl is. (unless he decides to be a troll and says he doesn't know)

I was kinda hoping it's Tsugumi, that would be a nice twist . The girl that was in flash back also has a red hair, it's kinda weird if later it is explained that actually between those three girls one of them had a red hair.

Chapter 32: Lovers Umbrella

Continuing from last chapter, Ichijou doesn't recognize who the girl in the photo is, so he goes asks his father. But he's gone out somewhere so that's that. The next day at school, teacher's handing out the photos everybody ordered. At the same time, Ichijou is just thinking to himself about what it all means...three keys, wondering who that girl is, if Onodera/Chitoge might remember anything.

After school it's raining, Chitoge forgot her umbrella, Ichijou insists to share his. Lightning starts striking, to which Chitoge is afraid of so they take shelter somewhere. To past the time they start talking about what photos they got.

And then at the end, Ichijou's father comes past and tells Ichijou he's gotta tell him something. His fiancee, who is the girl in the picture, will be coming to see him tomorrow.

Besides that little thing, love this chapter, always like Ichijou/Chitoge-centric chapters and the interactions they have.

Just saw the raws for this week. Even more interesting developments. But honestly, I'm not liking the direction Nisekoi is heading now. =/

Well, I need to read the chapters 32 & 33 to have a better understanding of things but there is too many girls already in a short period of time. Three was okay up till now, but four seems excessive.

Chapter 33: Battlefield? (I think is the subtitle, or more literally, "Sawlu field")

Continuing from last chapter, Raku's father sits Chitoge and Raku down and tells him about his fiancee. It was a promise made over a few drinks with an old friend of his. Well apparently she's at the ripe age to get married and so she's coming over tomorrow. Raku tells him to hold on just a sec and to just calmly solve this, but father says it's not that simple. Would be bothersome if he aggrevated them. Chitoge asks if they're gangsters like them, and he replies no they're even worse.

The next day in class, a new transfer student comes over into Raku's class, and it's Raku's fiancee. She introduces herself and then upon seeing Raku goes to glomp him. After being told she is his fiancee, the whole class is shocked. Tsugumi says hold on, Raku is ojou's lover. Chitoge tries to explain it, but Raku's fiancee looks at her and says "compared to this gorilla, I can give Raku more happiness!!" (LMAO). Tsugumi takes offense and points a gun at her, and then the police rush in and we find out her dad is the head of the police force. Afterwards, Raku and his fiancee take a breather at the nurse's office.

Raku lays it straight to her, he doesn't remember her, and he didn't even know he had a fiancee until yesterday, and that she shouldn't go ahead with everything just because his father told him to. But she replies that's not the case, she likes him and she's always been thinking of him these last ten years. Raku asks how about ten years ago...and she nonchalantly replies yep. Raku starts to realise she might be that promised girl. Outside, Chitoge, Tsugumi, Riru, and Onodera gather infront of the nurse's office, here ecchi stuff, breaks down the door, see a misleading scene, Raku gets smashed.

Last page, we're told that if Raku doesn't remember it, then Raku's fiancee will make him remember (while dangling the same key as the one in the photo from her hands).

Tachibana persuade Raku to go on a date with her. Onodera, Ruri, Tsugumi, and Chitoge (all in disguise) secretly follow them on the day. At the end of the chapter, Raku and Tachibana lose everybody off their tail save for Chitoge, and while nobody's around, Raku shows and asks about the girl in the photo (with him and the little girl). Tachibana is ecstatic he still has it and says yup that's her. She also says she knows the truth surrounding the promise that was made 10 years ago.

She's also willing to tell everything to Raku-sama.....but only if Raku breaks up with Chitoge (while dangling her key in front of Raku).

Oh boy.... I hope Naoshi knows what he's doing, since this will either destroy his series or keep the series going.

I think we are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past that point by now. Considering how often Nisekoi has ranked in the top 5, concerns about it's longevity are no longer relevant. Nisekoi is officially a popular series. It's a harem manga, these type of things are supposed to happen. Nothing about this plot twist will endanger the popularity of the series.
