No monologue from Tsukishima, and yet it looks like he's dead. o_O Weird, but I'm glad. This way it feels better, I was dreading the moment he either regenerated or spouted a great big speech which would eventually amount to nothing.

Ginjo is going to actually tell Ichigo something! I doubt it's about the Spirit King (not in this arc lol), but I guess he might try to pin the blame for something on Isshin or Urahara, because if he doesn't I can't see why we needed him being mysterious about them in the beginning of the arc.

Yukio, Kenpachi and Hitsugaya were quite funny. =)

The Rukia business is apparently not over yet. Yay for the suspense it brings lol.

I find it kind of strange Ginjou can do a Getsuga Tensho the same size as Ichigo's with only attaining his fullbring, then again Ichigo is not even in bankai..but still..he has the retsu from every captain..that should be more then enough

So the chapter was good and in the next chapter there will be the revelations we were waiting for.
The only thing I don't get is actually that Ichigo not only don't try to beat Ginjou, but it's actually on reverse. Ginjou inflicted more damage to Ichi, at least according to the pictures. One of Ichigo's sleaves is reaped, but maybe Ichigo is waiting for that damn revelation.

P.S. The pattern about the reason for fighting... did someone remember Aizen, when Ginjou was spitting that shit?

The very fact that Ginjou states that all Ichigo's friends and family and everything will revert back to normal once Tsukishima dies then suspiciously goes on to say who Ichigo's enemy really is makes me think that Tsukishima's death might play great importance in the story. This is a stretch but I think Tsukishima has altered someones past prior to the events we've seen already in which if Tsukishima dies they will revert back to normal and be evil again. :P I'm looking at maybe Isshin or maybe Urahara. If this happens my mind will be officially blown.

Every new frame i see of Ginjou Vs Ichigo, the more im thinking to myself:
~I wonder if Ginjou was once like how Ichigo is now...
~One wrong step and maybe Ichigo will turn out just like Ginjou...

Good chapter. Tsukishima might be alive......I think there will at least be one more scene with him. Maybe something interesting will happen in his last moments. Or maybe somehow he'll escape. Can't wait to hear Ginjou's story next week.....hope its good.

Only thing I didn't like about this chapter is it almost made me forget Ishida was fighting Ginjou too.

Nice chapter! I don't know if ginjou discovered something that make him become an enemy of soul society. I can't wait for the next chapter. A shocking story maybe? I wonder why Rukia is there.

THAT would be amazing, simply amazing....i jus wonder if he'd ever be able to even get near Urahara or Isshin without being noticed...these are some high level shinigami, and i'm also basing this on his reaction to Ryuken's arrival earlier....as in he dipped the F out

either way tho even that lil encounter would suggest he knew better than to deal with someone of Ryuken's level ....or crazier yet maybe he HAS dealt with him in some way before

and to further elaborate on Tsukishima.....based on the way this fight with Byakuya ended it would seem that tho he has an Aizen-like ability, he does not have the Aizen-like ambitions, or evil genius type in general....and yet he's probably one of the best sidekicks/underlings ANY ambitious evil dude could ask for (think Kabuto)....so to elaborate on your thoughts....it makes you wonder if someone else wouldnt have made use of his unique skills prior to this situation

Maybe Ichigo has no reason to fight right now... but i could see Ishida jump in and say HE has a reason to fight...and go all nuts on him...

what his exact reason? Other than getting sliced up...i dunno...but i am sure it woudl be poignant

So Tsuki still hanging on, but Kubo chose the laziest way of dealing with his powers, meaning he's as good as gone. Ginjou FINALLY about to spill the beans. This better be the moment I've been waiting for....the one that vindicates this entire arc. If Tsuki's death does what Criszen is saying it would fit the requirements. Urahara is out of the question though. We've already had a big flashback of his past with the Hogyoku business so I don't think there are any skeletons there. Isshin is another matter. We know nothing about this man's background apart from his Shinigami heritage.

The timing is right too...the Isshin arc is supposed to be what follows this one. Not that Kubo sticks to interviews or anything. -_-

Its not that he has ALL their reiatsu. Even Ichigo isn't that powerful. They each donated a portion to fill up his tank. Thats the right way to do it. The wrong way is what happened with Rukia - all reiatsu was taken resulting in power loss. Besides, people are forgetting something. According to Ginjou, Human + Shinigami + Fullbring = Transcendent. He should be strong.

I smell a flashback next chapter..definitely ginjou's past with soul society..this will lead ichigo into disbelief but eventually I feel like ichigo will end up siding with ichigo. I mean think about it..Why would ginjou need so much power..obviously there is a reason. And i think I agree with someone above who mentioned the soul king. I've been waiting to see how isshin, urahara and soul society all play into this..next week should be an even better chapter as plot is revealed

Next chapter is Ginjo's past for sure. I think he has a very good reason he turned his back to soul society. Maybe now he thinks that telling Ichigo his story will lead Ichigo to make choices. Maybe Spirit King is evil and Isshin out of duty as a Royal Guard used FGT against an enemy in order to protect Spirit King. That enemy could be someone vey special to Ginjo and some kind of rebel against Spirit King.

This was quite the good chapter, not only did it feel like it progressed quite a bit but it also set up a decent climax without it being a mysterious foot showing up or some new character entering the scene. It'll be interesting to see if Ginjou's words are actually true or if he's just spouting more bull to weaken Ichigo's determination.

So many options that could happen next chapter but I have a big feeling that it's perhaps Tsuki's power that will act as a ticking time bomb once he dies and a certain person's memory is restored to it's original setting. One can't assume he's only cut Ichigo's friends it's very possible that their are others who may have been manipulated by him that are also close to Ichigo and once their minds are restored their true selves may show. The only thing that comes to mind is perhaps Ginjou received help from Tsuki to target Urahara and wipe any memory of him from this memory without altering his overall memory. It's very possible Tsuki was made aware of Urahara's own outing with SS and felt that it would be bad to have any friendly ties associated with Urahara.

The outcome could be that this arc does involve the Hogyoku in that perhaps Urahara used Ginjou as the vessel to hold it in anf attempt to rid the world of it however when Ginjou found himself to be target by SS through Aizen's orders he retaliated by fighting back. Because of Ginjou's actions against SS they thought he was the first to take the offensive and they sent their men to apprehend Ginjou for his actions against SS. It's then a possibility that Urahara "helped" Ginjou by removing his abilities as a Shinigami but by doing that the Hogyoku popped out of his chest which caused Ginjou realize that he had been used by him with Urahara only shrugging off that it didn't work.

Ginjou then finds himself powerless and unable to do anything about his situation in which he meets up with Tsuki who may have his own distaste towards SS. Tsuki shows Ginjou the ability of Fullbring as well as reveals his own power and realizes that with Tsuki's powers he might be able to go into hiding. He then calls out to Urahara once more this time setting up a trap for Tsuki to use his ability and upon piercing him wipes all memories he had of Ginjou.

From that point on Ginjou pretty much spent his time trying to build up his power in order to seek revenge towards the one he sees to be a true enemy even if it meant using others to get to that objective. Granted it could be an unlikely scenario for some reason it just feels like Tsuki' plays a big role in all this and his death will be the real turning point of this arc. Definitely can't wait to see the next chapter though there's really no doubt it'll be focused on Ginjou and Ichigo/Ishida next unless we get panels showing his dad or Urahara feeling uneasy about the situation to foreshadow that something may soon change lol.

I really really hope Kubo make a dialogue chapter. But i'm pessimist, i think Ginjo will start to tell the story and someone will stop him and take him away.
Then Ichigo will ask the captains but they will say that it happened before they entered the Gotei 13... ¬¬
