This is how i think the current crew lines up in terms of power.

The only one who might challenge the trio is Jinbei. That is only because of his experience. Unless he was training for two years straight, I think Sanji might have surpassed him. Franky is going to be below these four. Chopper is going to be 3rd last.
Luffy > Zoro > Sanji > Jinbei > Robin > Franky > Brook > Chopper > Nami > Usopp

I honestly can't take Ussop seriously anymore. I mean, seeing him in the latest chapter trying to pose badass just made me lol at him. The guy looks like a damn rodeo clown reject in those silly overalls

I can't wait to see Van Augur in the New World. At least he's badass and is actually intimidating a little lol. Seeing him shoot Ace the moment he rejected Black beard's offer was just plain epic!

IMO Nami will always be the weakest character in crew. Next 2 after her are Robin and Usopp. I want to make this clear. I just can't see Nami/Robin as fighters. They seem like... Well... Girls... Who are bound to their specialities - scientist/archeologist and navigator. It was shown during the current arc, that Oda divides Straw Hats into 2 teams now - the fighters of the crew are Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Franky, Brook, Chopper and Usopp. Each one of them had a separate fight with general fishman. So I believe it's accurate to say Usopp is the weakest amongst the combatants of the SH team, not overall. Although after the timeskip the strenght gap between crew members doesn't look that deep...

So my rating is... 1. Luffy. 2. Zoro. 3. Sanji/Jimbei*. 4. Franky. 5. Brook. 6. Chopper. 7. Usopp. 8. Robin. 9. Nami.

*We're not sure about him being the next nakama yet, right? )

Look more closely, she goes to Luffy with her eyes closed, even when she stands in front of him, pretty difficult to avoid it in that way. The movement that is shown in the last panel of page 9 is just the normal way she moves, because she is a mermaid.

Even so I dont think is something to overthink, it could also be just luck.

Luck or not, she's a mermaid that have "special powers" and in moments like that (even for us humans in real life, in critic moments ... imagine when you are angry or want to say something so badly, you don't know from where you get the mental or physical strength to express your feelings, i said mental because in Shirahoshi's case i guess it was a matter of instincts and even in abnormal physical strength case it's the brain who sends the message to the muscles, so ... I'm a little off topic now so back to topic ...) you act upon your natural instincts, so as you said it's nothing to overthink about.

But Shirahoshi didnt told Luffy to stop, he dont recognize the voice and also the text bubble is different.

Yeah! the bubble look like the one wrapping the Sea King's speech, and if we add Luffy's reaction (Who's it?!!!) it's becomes obvious

We have to wait for when the SH enter the new world, remember that the new headquarters are in the G1 branch at the other side of the red line, so it sees the best place to achieve new bounties for each member!!

I can't believe you actually put Robin at 8th place , i mean come on she's very strong and we saw how much she developed her DF , i think her place should be somewhere in between Franky and Brook , meaning the 5th place .
I think she will practically wipe the floor with Usopp

They look the same as the ones we saw in the first intro (Anime)? well, they don't look the same, it's them for sure.

Luffy seems to have been brought to his limits, at first i thought he was exhausted, but i guess that being exhausted is one thing and being brought to his limits is something entirely different, If it wasn't because of his wounds (they opened up) i don't think he would have collapsed.

Yup, it's them. At least some of them. I don't think anybody else had mentioned it. I read some pages of the posts, but not all of them. I'm too lazy to do it, either. At least I read quite a lot of them. Somebody already mentioned it being the sea kings from one of the manga's chapter, though. I don't remember which chapter and my laziness meter has gone beyond my eagerness to look for the link. It's the chapter when they are trying to cross the calm belt, before entering Grand Line. Anyway, welcome back Black Lagoon! You've gone for quite a while. I thought you had gone for good.

Your argument stops when Robin alone defeated Strawhats when they first met. And now it's just silly because She can actually multiply her strength by thousands.

She's in the middle trio, more strong than Brook I dare to say.

I'd put them like that, with Jinbei between Sanji and Franky. Kind of hard to tell since we haven't really seen everything they can do yet, Atleast I don't think so. It really don't think we'll be able to properly gauge how to rank to the straw hats until they get 1 on 1 fights like during the E.L arc.

Like I said earlier, I'm hoping Luffy passing out/resting is an opportunity for Caribou to come out and for use to ind out which of the crew knows Haki. For some reason I feel that Sanji would get the most pissed off and would be the most likely to attack him.

Everybody has said that the opponents aren't challenging, It's not like we've seen everything that the straw hats can do. It'd make more sense to rank them after a serious fight rather than the one against the generals, since we don't even really know the ranking of strength in the NFP other than Hody being the strongest. I don't think anything has happened that would significantly change how I ranked the characters before the timeskip.

As said someone already noticed about the sea kings. I think it's more a joke from Oda rather than the same animals but I wonder what his answer will be if the question is asked in SBS

Also about the discussion on the sea kings age. The fact they do know about noah as well as neptune makes me wonder if fishmen know more about the void century than humans. I hope we will have some answers soon
