And this why I like Shioon as a character, he is pretty smart when he actually uses his brain. I guess once the incident with the SUC blows over, he'll get into SunWoo clan politics to try and save Sera who conveniently just became a damsel in distress, unless of course this whole thing is part of some convoluted plan she thought up. Hopefully not though as it would take all the fun out of the story if everything goes according to her "plans."

Honestly, I'm tired of Sera so it would be nice if she gets forgot for a while (not likely I know but one can hope).

We didn't see him take a pill,
but... we did see his hand in his pocket and the same hand was clenched on page 5/12 so it is possible he took it. The last version of the pill took 30 minutes to take effect so this one may have a similar 'warm up' period.

Well, I was wrong.
I actually don't mind being wrong as it is a sign that the manga writer is good enough to fool me occasionally.

If i remember right (nd i am not sure what i remember) i think the granny said his ki centres were expanded prematuredly or sth
So i suppose that kind of meditation will facilitate ki flow or sth. Not to mention the doc has taken interest in shiwoon so dont think the ki repair/ flow will be long from now.

Sera's master said that Shioon's ki-center's merridians were expanded to the point that they resembled master class murim martial artists. However, its useless without a ki-center to direct the flow of ki. Although in part 1, it was implied that Shioon's body and the pill will fully integrate with one another in 3 month's time (something like that). I think its been around 2+ month's so far as of chapter 50.

Anyway on the chapter.... Jinie kicking the Gothic girl in the face was strangely enjoyable to watch. Shioon's using his head! Keep it up!

joking aside thanks for clearing things up , but agina if 9arts expanded the then i am pretty sure he made it sure tha that Shiwoons ki centre damage is teporary
i think the doc noticed it some how but didnt say anything thatsy he is snooping around for a lab

I would love it if Jinnie finishes her off on her own some how. say if her weapon is damaged so that it cant be used then i think jinnie can take her on on even footing

I know this has been said before, but I will reiterate it for you.

9AD was forced to widen Shi-woon's meridians to compensate for the illwallsindan(sp?). That large volume of ki was too much for his channels as they were, which caused the backflow that we saw when we first saw Chun-woo trying to teach him distribution. There was proof that the ki was being distributed evenly(via the healing of his hands), yet the ki congested in the channels. It was like trying to force a gallon of water through a quarter-inch pipe all at the same time. Chun-woo just went with the obvious solution(widening the pipes).

It has nothing to do with the damage done to Shi-woon's ki center,

Something that caught my attention this chapter was how Shioon reflected on how he felt, not saw, the attack coming. It kind of reminds me of how characters of considerable skill, like Hyuk So Chun and other Munjus are able to determine their opponents level just from glancing at them. Just from this chapter I get the impression that he is moving closer to the level of Munju due to his mastery of that meditation technique.

I was impressed with Shioon this chapter, he didn't even take the medicine and could almost follow goth girl's movements. I think it was a little stupid that he didn't take the pill when he was riding around town but I guess he wanted to try to face without it. The kick to the face on page 18 was AWESOME! bitch didn't even know what hit her. I think they are both going to escape and then bum bum the other leaders are going to make an appearance and that is where we will see Shioon take the pill.

He didn't take the pill riding around town because while it takes 30 minutes for the pill to work (may be less with the improved medicine), it also limits how long he can function since once the effect wears off he can barely move. Don't forget that he didn't exactly know where Jinnie was so he wasn't sure how long it would take to find her or if she was in any immediate danger. Bottom line, there was nothing wrong with him not taking the pill up to this point.

Btw, the author set the whole story up pretty well with the illwallsindan(?) since it seems that without the Black Heaven ki distribution technique it is almost impossible to survive it and perhaps, like somebody above postulated, Shioon's body will integrate with Ki completely somehow making it possible to direct it without a ki-center.

i think before Elder Kwon arrive they already beat the S.U.C and the tries to attack Shioon saying that the head Seat is already vacant and then the other Elders will arrive with the help of the Sunwoo connections

I think he'll take the pill once that other SUC elder arrives (the one he fought), the 2 of them could probably take the witch on without any other help.

Arrrghh, the contest was so absorbing that the chapter felt very short. So the training is paying dividends. Shioon tackled her well and Jini's kick was like the topping. I am not impressed with the gothic crazy woman. She doesn't look one of the strongest character. I can bet she is the lowest among the SUC leaders.

Not much of a guess. Wasn't it already established that she was the weakest of the 5? Her entire character reeks of an inferiority complex as well. She is perfect as a measuring stick though.
