Toriko eats without too much delay Nitro Cherry, who had been cooked by Komatsu.
Nevertheless Toriko feels very badly and began to throw up blood.
Livebearer believes he has won and laughs in the face of Toriko's difficulties.
Toriko, backed by Coco, however stands up and says that the game is not over.
Livebearer is more and more excited, and now the hand of the game goes to him, who in front of the wonder of all eat Electric Banana.
The gap between the two teams is large but Toriko and Coco can reduce it a bit with three consecutive pairs (Rock Lizard, Caesar Snake and Sea Urchin Rat).
Livebearer feels successful and now begins to assume bizarre faces and poses.
However Coco brings him down to earth and says that the game is about to end in his favor.

I am speechless. Eiji Niizuma of Bakuman is really resembling Shimabukoro sensei . He knows how to play with readers' feeling. The way he designed this chapter, especially Livebearer, this is genius stuff. I knew this Gourmet Casino would turn to be the best arc so far but to create such an evil annoying badass villain, man this is epic. Before this chapter, I only treat Livebearer as normal lame villain, and so I don't really care about him. Everyone knew he would lose. As for me I could careless how he lose. However with this chapter, really want to see him lose or got beaten or dying in the worst possible way.

I liked this chapter. Very clever, but I knew it. I knew it would come down to the order/combinations of how Livebearer was being led to eat by Coco. I think it was already clear but if there was still any doubt its clear now...Coco is the smartest of the 4 Heavenly Kings. The next chapter is gonna be really interesting. I hope my prediction about Livebearer getting pissed off and starting a fight comes true. Plus it looks like Toriko's wounds from the Nitro Cherry are almost healed.

And thanks to all those who made it possible for Toriko to come out "on time" these past 2 weeks.

Livebearer faces were one of the creepiest thing in Toriko so far :-)
Technically I wonder if Livebearer should not have known about the danger of the order ingredients from the memories he stole but well that was a nice trick whatever or maybe he simply forget and he knows now that Coco point it
So in order for him to loose, he must refuse to eat the potato twice, since he is the first to choose it, Coco team has indeed the advantage.

I liked this chapter too Livebearer's creepy faces, Coco's tactics and it seems Toriko had a little power up with all the rare ingredients he had to eat ( i liked the fact he could eat a lot of them without even having to search for them ).

Do you think Livebearer will:
- try to eat the Poison Potato although Coco's warning and will be dead/KO.
- abandon and start a fight as VashDaStempede said.
- abandon and nicely give the Meteor Garlic memories ( he doesn't seems to be the type, maybe the creepy face make me think so ).
- something i didn't though about.

I vote for 2 i want to see Coco's poison armor again. Or Komatsu against Livebearer ( joking ).

About the Meteor Garlic memories i don't remember are they in Livebearer's head or stocked somewhere? Because if he die how do they get them?

@Nauthyz...that's a good point. The Meteor Garlic is stored as taste data in Livebearer's memories... See here (its this page and the next)

So they can't let Livebearer die or they will lose the Meteor Garlic data. I hope there is a fight though. Remember all those cooks that surrounded them when Livebearer first asked them to play? I wouldn't even mind if Komatsu even got a little action in with so many opponents.

And Livebearer's faces might be the creepiest I've seen in any manga...the tongue, the drooling...its creepy and hilarious at the same time.

I believe toriko gets ranked in the top 10 often, right? There were a time it got ranked third several times...

Anyway, I was already expecting Coco to do combination of foods but i wanted some explanation before the cliffhanger!

Now how many more arcs before Gourmet World? One? Two? All the 4 king had their own arc now, it is about time!!!!

Toriko always said there are several tasks/ingredients on the list. So I expect more training arcs. Maye all four of them together in one single arc, might be nice as well. Also Im missing Terry. Anyway, before the gourmet world, I want to see the conclusion of the presidents sole attack, or whatever he was planing on doing.


Great chapter. Live give me the creeps as well. Coco did outsmart him though I as well was expecting this. Not that Im disappointed or anything.
