Reading this chapter again I just realized how much Allen has become like his master General Cross in terms of how he frantically attempts to avoid anything relating to the order. Then i thought, "what if the reason Cross was avoiding the order all along was somehow related to the reality of Apocryphos." I mean think about it, how long has cross known about this thing's existence exactly

I noticed that Kanda only said "Was it you?" "Was it the Noah?" when he was asking how Link died. If Allen gets the chance to answer him, I wonder what Kanda is going to think about Apocryphos.

Best part was the ensemble feel being brought back with Wisely, Tyki and Allen. I much prefer Tyki's old hair, so it works nicely. I also like that flash of Nea crying over a bloody Mana (same hair as Mana in the chapter when Cross revealed Allen harbored the 14th). And I always like Nea taking over Allen. :]

Still, there's the endless yaoi shipteases for Allen and Kanda (meh) and Allen and Link (do want.)

Yay for plot progression and antagonists again instead of mindless mooks!

Damn... I was about to post my thoughts on 210, but this chapter arrived first.

I actually thought Allen was possessed by Nea when he gave a serious expression after Johnny's hug. It caught me off guard when the scene turned comedic.

Hopefully the announcement about Link's "death" will provoke Allen to go on the offensive. It's easier to tackle one foe instead of two so it's best that Allen gets rid of Apo-chan while he can- I'm sure the Noahs will be happy to help with this endeavor.

I'm so happy to see Tyki and Wisely again! Tyki is a given, but I was surprised by just how beautiful Wisely looked. Thank you, Sheril for giving him a bath and nice clothes.

The panel with Wisely saying, "The horror of knowing there is nowhere in the world for you to escape to..." is interesting. It resembles the art style in the first chapter where Marc was mourning Claire. Is the crying figure Nea and the fallen one Mana? Or is it the other way around since Nea was the one who died?

Hehehehe I've been reading up on dog behavior and Allen in this chapter reminded me of a puppy...

I also thought it was hilarious that Allen's falselashes were rubbed off by Kanda and that Johnny literally glomped Allen. Also amusing that when Allen got swallowed by an Akuma (again), Kanda's just like "psh, don't worry Johnny that's nothing".

Being more serious, I kinda wish this is a turning point for Allen where Neah steps up a bit, aka the transformation happens. (Although I doubt it since the setting is too anticlimatic. Allen's all-important transformation isn't likely to happen at a random roof top, right after being found by Kanda + Johnny, who have the potentional/intentions to subdue the 14th. It's more likely that it'll happen at the end of a long arc but it'd be nice if I was wrong :P)

I want to see Neah and Allen talking!! It's so frustrating that the answer to all our questions is so close to Allen. Allen left HQ with the intention of getting to know Neah better so I hope some development happens soon.

Despite my impatience, I'm actually really happy with this chapter. Glad that it didn't take too long to find Allen. I think the clown outfit really suits him, maybe even more than the Order uniforms .

I think in the scene with the moon, it's Neah and Mana. Mana being the one sitting and bleeding. Neah possibly dead.

Someone else brought up the problem of Allen having a innocence patch on his heart. Isn't it physically impossible for him to continue living if he becomes a Noah since he'll be rejecting his heart?

It'll be interesting to see how Allen will handle being a noah with innocence... which is what I'm guessing Tiki was referring to with his last teaser line.

Anyone want to give a guess what Link's up to (since we all know he's not dead)?

I love all the character interactions in DGM. Too bad Lenalee and Ravi are out of the picture though for now. But at least it seems like we'll see more Noah?

At times they act like comrades/family to Allen and at other times his sinister worst enemies. Looking forward to Feb. chap already!

Most likely, Allen will end up traveling with Kanda and Johnny, I think.

first the Allen-Kanda-Johnny, which made me smile and feel sad at the same time, and mentioning of Link.
Then awesomness of Noah, Wisely and Tyki.
And Noah Allen.
And the art, oh my.......

I'm blown away by this chapter... seriously, I laughed at the Allen-Kanda-Johnny interaction, fell silent when Allen realised Link was dead, aww'd when Allen ran away to keep Johnny and Kanda out of his problems, and got super excited when his Noahfication began. Again.

But then the pages ended there, and no matter how much my mind screams for Neah to finally make his long overdue appearance, I agree with the others that Neah isn't going to appear any time soon - unless the setting is within Allen's mind, or he speaks to Allen to help him out of this situation. And then Link and/or Cross will rise from the grave and knock him back into the realm of sensibility.

Imagine Allen go:

Allen: "Neah! Now is not the time for this!"

As a side note, even though Tyki looks great having reverted to his appearance pre-Ark, I think Tyki looks like a vampire... *gets shot*

Also, did anyone notice the way Allen's face twisted into something akin to anger/rage/upset when Kanda mentioned that he hasn't turned into the 14th yet? Wonder why? Is is because of the mention of Neah? Or something else entirely?

In other words, it will sort of still be "Allen", but he'll become like Tyki used to be (black and white), maybe react against exorcists and innocence for example..

I would be laughing too and it kinda will ruin the moment but do you remember when the earl gave the hit list to tyki, it just took tyki two seconds to change his outfit maybe it's some kind of ability they only have. same think happened to wisely

that would make the story more complicated, but I think that the 14th noah never existed, I mean the memory that takes over the original host. I think that nea is a normal human but with a noah's appearnace and powers, that kinda explains his affection of his human brother mana assuming mana was a human too???

do you mean that allen will be like the good side and he will stop nea from going overboard. maybe if Allen figures out that nea is a good guy he will give him permission to use his innocence

I know what you mean, I'm still in an awe with the chapter's art and the story of the chapter. Man Allen looked so beautiful

The thing is... considering the current situation Nea cannot completely awake because Nea's awaking is only posible under two condictions:

a) Allen or someone cut off his arm: then Nea is free but Allen drown internally in blood 'cause his heart is broken and then Allen dies.
b) Nea simply awakes and then Allen became a togaochi and then Allen dies.

The only posibility that left is: Allen's innocence crystallize. Then Allen health is saved. His innocence level up and the apocryphos problem is solved 'cause they fight him in the meanwhile and win him and blah-blah...

Actually, current chapter brought us to this conclusion so it's pretty obvious (or maybe not! xD) now what will happen next:
We have all the cool characters: The bad guy: Apocryphos. The good ones: Allen, Kanda, Tikk (eternal enemy of the bad guy, then with the good guys this time). The observer: Johnny. The showman (narrator): Wisely.
We will have a huh-I'm-almost-here Nea appearence, probably in the next chapter. It could be cool if they show up some mysterious-encrypted sentences of the 14th past and thoughts to Allen (and us!). But not the definitive awakening. Sorry, Noahs!
The apocryphos will eventually show up and fight Allen, Kanda and Tikk (look, Tikk is already on the scene, Hoshino-sensei put the pieces on the table! )
Allen's innocence will evolve to crystal type during the fight.

Personally I'd be really happy if that "black and white" that Tikk wants will turn into real "Gray" during that evolution to crystal type joining some more black side inner Nea in Allen.

It's time like these that my hatred for DGM's monthly release takes a whole new level.

(for the record, i'm hoping this chapter will inspire more wisely fanart, since I find that it is currently lacking...)

Personally, I don't like Tyki's hair back like that... I much prefer his shaggy hobo hair from the train-poker incident, and his normal shaggy hair from when he gave the key to the Allen&co. in the ark.

I'm feeling bad for Allen... his Noahfication makes me think that he's having a heart attack every time... He also has had two of these in the last 2 chapters (his eyes started Noah-fying last chapter)...
Neah needs to make some sort off appearance really soon because i feel like otherwise we won't get any answers =.='

As for that picture with Mana/Neah with the moon... Pretty sure it's Neah that's crying out/bleeding because Wisely was hinting that Neah was suffering during his Noahfication (which, actually, hints that Neah did not want to be a Noah, where as the current Noah seem to be Happy to be Noah.)
Relating this back... It's possible that Cross's "You'll have to kill someone you love" is from Neah's time. It's possible that in order to become a Noah, he had to kill Mana.
....And another thing.... I just remembered how in Reverse 3, Mana said that one day he was suddenly old. He was 17 one day, old the next........darnit.

Allen sort of confirmed that Wisely has white/gray-ish hair, finally :3 But.. "Old man-ish Noah", Allen? Like you're one to talk

I'm intrigued by Tyki's appearance at the scene, now that Allen seem to be further into the Noah-fication. Tyki knows a similar pain of that which Allen is going through, as he's been in the same boat ever since the Ark incident. Also, it seems that he still hasn't been completely consumed by the Noah memory, that he still has some of the human side in him. I wonder if a tiny part of him will feel a little sympathy towards the kid?

Is the next issue really coming out in march? -.-" I'm about to just stop reading it, the intervals in between are just too long.
