The world in trouble? I can already see Luffy as the savior

Oh my god, Akainu is Fleet Admiral. The same guy who tried to kill his own men, and went on rampage against a half dead man while ignoring other threats. I wonder what happened to Coby (working under the same guy that tried to kill you might not be a comfortable situation). Expect some 'moral-justice' followers to defect.

Expect also 10 pages of comments trying to guess who are the two new admirals (sopposing Kizaru is still an admiral).

I already have a big hunch about Akainu being the next FA since that info about the new FA moving the Navy HQ to the New World. I don't think Aokiji would be so bold to make such a decision. Plot-wise, it's a great move. Akainu being the FA would maintain the marines as enemies for the SHs, with Luffy's past experience with him.

But, at the bottom of my heart, I was rooting for Aokiji. He's one who really knows what real justice is. With all those corrupt people up the ladder of WG, we need someone like Aokiji, who got high morals, to lead the force (Marines) that should protect civilians. It's sad that he didn't get the position.

Now, I have to wonder how would he be outside marines. And who might be the two new Admirals. Smoker and Coby? Hmmm. A little far-fetched but I like the idea. :P

New admirals may be Onigumo (shot his own man down in Enies lobby) and Doberman (scarface). Momonga already was shown to be in command of G-1 so he's still vice admiral.

It's sad that Akainu took over the marines. Foreseeable, yes, but man. Aokiji was sort of my favorite marine after Garp.

Was it stated that there should always be 3 Admirals? I thought there were 3 of them before 'cause of the reference to Momotaro. Though I too am rooting for Smoker, but he's not the type who likes promotions and all. And considering what happened to Aokij (which I assume he shares the same type of justice)i, I doubt he'll stay in the marines too. So I'll give my two cents to Tsuru and some other Vice-admirals like Strawberry or Doberman.

wow, some interesting news. Blackbeard becomming a yonkou was quite obvious is guess. after all he took over whitebeards dragon fruit...

but what's this talk about aokiji being the next nakama? Two weeks ago there was a lot of discussion about Jinbei destroying the monster trio if he was about to join. What would aokiji do? Right now he would certainly be the strongest crew member...
I personally think that he isn't a part of anything now. Just a lonely traveller, helping weak people. It is likely that he will join forces with the strawhats in one future arc, but not that he's going to be their nakama.

I've read someone wondering how coby will feel? working for the man, that tried to kill him? Well, what's about garp? Is he still an active marine? What is he doing? His new boss killed one of his grandsons and heavily injured the other..

Anyway i think aokiji has done real well if he fought 10 days against sakazuki/akainu. After all magma should be superior to ice on a natural level.

That's why I said it's far-fetched. LOL.

And yeah, I just actually remembered that Coby's dream is to be an admiral which is, I suppose, in parallel with Luffy's dream to be the Pirate King. If he would become, an admiral, at the moment, then it's too much to take.

Wow this spoilers give us heavy news.
First the introduction of a third ancient weapon Uranus. I thought the ancient kingdom had one and the WG had one, but who would have the third one?
Second Akainu is FA!!! Thats a big fail in the marines. Akainu is a blooddog who is good for hunting down pirates but being a leader with his attitude?
And last but not least: Big Mum seems to be a a..hole. I pretict a meeting with the sh and her...
Oh and BB became a yonkou but that was kinda obivous.

Wow! If the spoiler is the real thing it sure provides a lot of info about the events that transpired after the 2 year timeskip. BB becomeing a Yonkou? I wonder what happened to the remnants of the Whitebeard pirates. Aokiji and Akainu fighting it out for the title of Fleet Admiral is a bit extreme for me. Is that a norm in the marines to have their Admirals duel for promotion. And it took them 10 days to have a winner. If a duel between top tier character will last that long, then i hope Oda will not draw the penultimate fights of one piece panel-for-panel or else that will be too long.

it would be pretty funny if big mum came to FI, everyone's in panic, the sh's prepare themselves to fight and then somehow nami finds out with the vivre-card that it's lola's mom and everything is cool.

what makes me worry is coribou, i think i totally underestimated his role in this arc and also the future, it seems like oda has some bigger plans with him.

10 days of fighting--- I would luv that kind of filler arc in anime .. only fighting..

I wonder how a lazy person like Aokiji actually fought continuously for 10 days

even if any one of the yonkou is the strongest, one of them cant take on 2 yonkous at the same time. if shanks could join forces with one of them, BB's toast. but ... pride is what keeps most of them working solo.

The moving of Marine HQ to the New World makes complete sense knowing Akainu is the new Fleet Admiral. The whole "duel to the death" situation between him and Aokiji is the biggest shock in this chapter for me; I would've just assumed that if the Gorosei wanted Akainu as Fleet Admiral after Sengoku stepped now, then there wouldn't really be anyone to argue with their decision. I'm really wondering what Aokiji is up to now....

Could it be that Oda makes the "Piecemain" from romance dawn have a comeback? Outlaws that harrass pirates? that was waaaay too soon.

Maybe Aokiji is with the former CP9 agents?
