Well, seeing Akatsuki in action would be cool. Atleast we get to see Itachi get some movie action. Or should rather.

He will be busy doing some other kind of action.
If you catch my drift ( seriously I totally love this version of Sasuke )

As for Naruto having a Sharingan, probably because he's the Tobi of the AU world, so he... Probably... Acquired it, I really don't know.
It appears not stolen, since he activates it ( while a stolen Sharingan always remains active ), it will probably have some connection with the other baddies.

Also it is just me or he has the same hair style of Yondaime?

LOL WAT? It did better than any Shippuden movie by far. Also it was released only in Japan not a worldwide release. Not to mention it's only the opening week.

That's more than double the revenue of the previous Shippuden films. It charted on the international box office despite not being an international film. In Japan it was the third biggest box office, which is pretty good considering it was up against The Dark Knight Rises and the new Umizaru movie.

It'll also likely do far better in DVD sales than box office.

Other than the black hair and selfish back story, I think I'd prefer Menma. (personal opinion)

Road to Ninja Is Highest Grossing Naruto Film

Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie has become the highest-grossing Naruto film, making 1.46 billion yen (about US$18.3 million) between its opening on July 28 and September 23. The film has been seen 1.25 million times.

The film had topped 1 billion yen (about US$13 million) in revenue 17 days after it opened.

The 2004 Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow film had previously held the record, grossing 1.37 billion yen (US$17.4 million). Last year's Naruto Shippūden: Blood Prison film earned 800 million yen (about US$10 million yen).

I don't think it is a coincidence that before of this movie the one who sould out more was the first, and at least for me that was even the best film.

Not surprising Road to Ninja did so well. Road to Ninja had the most promotion and hype going into a Naruto film. Also the movie had roles for Sasuke, the Konoha 12, Naruto's parents, and the Akatsuki. So all fanbases were satisfied. And it had a gimmick with the alternate universe characters. It will be hard to top it.

My favorite movie is still Naruto Shippuden 3: Inheritors of the Will of Fire. Another Kishimoto involved film.

I agree, the hype was huge.

Nothing will top the first movie, though. It's oldschool Naruto with a nice story without any bullshit that makes you go ".................did that really just happen?". If I remember correctly, it was the best animation-wise as well.

When the movie is going to be available for us to watch online?....and i agree, i went to watched the first movie and the theater was a full house kids even asked that even if there weren't any seats available, they were willing to seat in the floor....stairs..
