I think it would have been good if even Charlie and Happy also went through the awakening of the "Second Origin" process (especially Happy since he doesn't have any secondary ability like Charlie and Lily do). This way they would be able to do more in the story.

I wonder what kind of second magic Happy could have. Aero seems to be his strongest point, maybe it's something related to wing as wells.

I don't think it's about second magic, but about second magic container (like getting second batery).

Though I would also like to see Happy and Charlie going through that same power-up, because now they are too far from Lily.

I think it will be more than that. It should give them all a power boost as well. Natsu should be able to spam his most powerful roars more often and Lucy should be able to summon multiple spirits without losing all her power so quickly. But knowing Mashima, they will all randomly know new techniques without any sort of explanation how.

I am just thinking natsu always gets weak after using dragon slayer secret arts and fire lighting moves maybe with the 2nd container he could just use those big moves more often? Or may be he could use dragon force without eating magic!

I believe it will work like getting more hourse powers in the car or more chakra in Naruto or like more Reiatsu in Bleach. I see it like they will spam their old moves more and make them more powerful (maybe two times or even stronger) and it may also let them develop some new moves. Of course they learnt some moves from their respective Dragons, but I believe they mostly tought them basics of Dragons Slyer Magic and thus with this new power-up they will have enough magic power to develop some new moves. But if we are taqlking about Natsu I believe he will develop his new Fire Lightning Mode.

i completely agree, among his current moves the only thing that he cannot reproduce without eating off something is dragon force so may be if he has more magic he can consciously turn it on

wat does having more magic = unleashing potential technique? its like in naruto does having more chackra = new tech? not exactly. Urtear's technique was used on erza, she just have a high pain threshold.

Or maybe since she already unlocked her second container, Ultear's magic isn't affecting her. Or are you saying Makarov and Gildartz should be able to get this power up as well?

I seriously doubt high pain tolerance has anything to do with it.

We still don't know but it would be best if they match Sting and Rogue
