3c here's what I think about MW3:
- Great story
- The same gameplay
- The good ol characters soap/price ... etc are there
- SHORT
- VETERAN difficulty is easier than it used to be (that's what I think).

Completed in 6 hours and 20 minutes.


But considering that you stopped playing BF3 because of the story. I think you'll greatly appreciate the story this one offers.

Well I think MW has an okay story. I'm more interested in it because of the characters, as the story itself is a little hard to accept sometimes and thus flawed. I dig Soap and Price, they are indeed badass.

6 hours huh? Pretty decent for Veteran difficulty I'd guess. Well Veteran was never very hard in MW3 anyway, especially not if you have some recent FPS experience.

MW 3 had a petty good story (for being a CoD/MW game SLASH BIASED) but it's nothing compared to the story in the GoW series so I can't help but compare and be disappointed. The characters though are pretty good. I mean, it's a kinda solid story, good characters and it kills a couple of hours. The thing I enjoyed the most was like the first mission when you were fighting on american soil and second where you were defending the russian president. After that I felt very uninvolved with it, I just did what I was supposed to do because that was the mission, I never felt that I wanted to do it. Sure, we should all fight terrorists but I didn't feel any empathy for the characters nor the story. It was so robot-like. "Here's your mission, do it." I'm not keen on that type of gameplay as I prefer dialogues and cutscenes that involves me more as a player... Again, like the Gears of War series.

I played on veteran and had a little trouble from time to time as it was the first time I played a "realistic" fps on console and I was used to the quick wall-bounce evasion and shotgun usage. But after a couple of missions I got in to it. Might try uh, the highest difficulty laters for achievement points.

As for the wall evasion, lol, it comes in handy from time to time.

GoW3 is an awesome game... Too bad it's a 360 exclusive title
Mass Effect 3 is next. I hope it's as good as the previous ones... I can't stand a disappointment such as the one we suffered back when Dragon Age 2 came out.

Well the war feeling is epic, and some of the fights are just insanely difficult...the story is awesome and the are heart breaking moments...and there is the end, which I won't spoil...I'm interested in what you think after you finish it...
