Shingeki no Kyojin
Hunter x Hunter
the best is of course DRAGON BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
i nominate Naruto.
i'm a huge fan so to me it's always the best manga , that aside this year naruto has really evolved in plot and characters, even the nine tails
I nominate Ushio to Tora for Best Shonen.
Choral, raw, exciting, touching, amusing.
One of the best example of 90's shonen.
I support Gamaran for Best Shonen.
It's clearly the one that amazed me the most this year, the pace at which the story evolves and the serious badassness of the fights are truly impressive imho. Like zelllogan said, it's an unpretentious work but it certainly is ambitious.
I'm nominating Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as the best shounen. Wonderful story about how you have to try and do even things that may seem impossible. You say 'Booo, mecha'? It's only a tool, the story is wonderful even if you're not exactly on good terms with mecha. You say 'childish'? Watch episode 8 and try to say it again. You say 'cheese'? Just as much how much was needed to end it in epic tone.
I nominate Gamaran for best Shounen.
I nominate Bleach as the best Shounen this year.

I nominate Gamaran for best shounen
I nominate Shingeki no Kyojin for pushing the boundaries of what shounen can be, and what shounen can look like.
Naruto of course, nothing else
I support the nomination for Hunter x Hunter....I think such a complex world and exciting storytelling should be a model for other mangas out there...
i nominate naruto
I can't believe there's only been a single nomination for this amazing series, so I will second the nomination for Fullmetal Alchemist.
Shingeki no Kyojin has been great so far, but I still feel it's a little premature to accord it so high praise as "best shounen". I love the world Arakawa-sensei created in FMA, I love the characters and I love the storytelling. I just re-read some parts of it recently and I've still got to say this is one of the best manga I've ever read.
