I nominate Kokou no Hito for best drama.

It's story about loner. He founds love in mountaineering and that gives him feeling that he is truly alive. This great piece has monumental realistic drawings and unique lead character. As he climbs mountains or simply lives his life the readers can "feel" that omnipresent danger and, of course, drama.

I nominate Otoyomegatari( A Bride's Story) for this category, as it presents the essence of the genre for me, and it's a good story to read, too...I think it being Historical manga, not just Drama helps though
