Not necessarily. I still think that at some point Kakashi might actually fight with Kabuto. Imagine a cenario where these two fight against each other. Kabuto is a sneaky guy ... which will use anything to his advantage so i wouldn't find weird for him to have info about Kakashi's past, and that it does end triggering the revelation of Kakashi's past.
