Can't stand the new content...which is basically the old story line. The battles and training and general plot in the MW arc were so good, this all just seems so second rate.

I missed Chizu-nee getting a pactio...when did this happen? And with Negi, not Kotarou?

great, with every chapter Negi gets more ridiculised, basically now he can't even evade being pierced by a needle from a stupid girl in his RT form ? state in which he was able to evade ALL of Rakan's hits, or he could've simply turned into lightning to evade it.
And honestly Negi could've just went into RT from the start and flew away, there isn't a single mage who can keep up with his speed.
I HATE fan service chapters.

oh well in that case, why even bother training ? let's just do this to every broken mage that appears, and Negi who is supposed to be a monster can be so easily influenced ?
We all saw what was gonna happen to Kojirou if he had taken advantage of the invisibility to attack Fate, Negi is even stronger than Fate and the needle girl(I don't memorize the names of randoms) is so much weaker than Kojirou so I don't like what happened u_u

Jirachier,
remember the point is not just strength in numbers, it about the philosophical point of "Remember us teacher, we sure will!" (IOW: thank you for everything, folks!). Without this last bit, the author could not say that the girls can't handle themselves in the upcoming years, even when their temporary adversary is Negi, their top class teacher. Also this points out the cliché, "nothing is absolute," which almost every author likes to state (like birds chirping for food).

Also, I want to state, I think Fate isn't asleep like the rest. He allowed the girls to handle the situation, far better than he could. He is just sipping coffee and enjoying as Negi struggles.

It's true that nothing is absolute but common sense exist too, you can't just accomplish anything with guts or whatever.
Also they don't need to handle one of the most broken characters in the entire serie to prove thier worth, they already showed their usefulness in the fight against Fates ministras

yes, you are right, "they don't need [...] to prove their worth." They need to prove to the audience that the next arc, the will survive. IOW, Ken is ending this manga

But I agree as well, it seems -ish redundant. But he has greedy producers on his neck.

Seems like this chapter is going to officially come out on 11th Jan 2012 in
"WSM #06".

This is because "WSM" is going to be on break on 4th Jan 2012 (ch348 was officially released in the double issue #04-05 of WSM dated 28th Dec 2011).

But there is chance that we may (hopefully) either get early spoilers or raws.

So Negi actually has someone he likes, eh? While I imagine that person would be Asuna or possibly even Chisame (they are the 2 girls who are closest to Negi), it might be fun if Akametsu does something surprising, such as tossing Setsuna into the mix.
