TnK is not just some regular technique. It is a result of 'real' human emotion, something that you cannot copy.

Yes, everyone could use TMnK in the beginning, but since their base skills were quite low, there was not much skill level to multiply by right? And to further your base skill level, you must adopt the idea that winning is everything in tennis. By only developing skills, tactics and techniques which defeat the opponent. The sudden realisation that tennis is fun, and always should have been fun causes the skill level to multiply many times. This skill level increase is probably caused by a change of tennis 'style' which resulted from the sudden realisation. This 'style' is hitting the ball without hesitation or regard of the consequences or effects (which is what most people were like when they first started tennis). As a byproduct of this, Muga energy is released from the body because the player has stopped holding back this energy (this suggests that only people who can manipulate Muga energy can get that burst of green light from their bodies which further increases skill level).

Ryoma and Tezuka can manipulate Muga energy. They do this in HJnK and SKnK, moving and focusing Muga energy in the arm, legs and brain. Although Niou can do this (with the help of Illusions) he has not experienced that sudden realisation and thus cannot play the TnK 'style' which means he cannot cause his all of his Muga energy to be released for the supreme multiplication in skill level.

That is my theory of TnK.

    Don't care, this isn't canon.

Bro that was colder than a 'cool story bro'. Afterall he did finish with saying it was a theory.
Either way, my point stands that Niou is only the best MS doubles player in the series but without doubt not the best Singles MS player.

Come to think of it, Niou really is THE best Doubles player in the series.

Are you sure? Yukimura/Sanada are stronger players in doubles than Niou.

I would imagine so too, and thinking back to the start, if the MSers pairs ACTUALLY HAD TO face each other in the pairs they created then a Yukimura/Sanada pair would be the best pair in the series ever undoubtably and effortlessly KOing the Fuji bros, GP, SP, 2Wings, Tezuka/Kaido, Atobe/Hiyoshi etc hahahaha.

But considering Niou can interchange between Yukimura and Sanada, it makes Niou the best doubles player. Although pair wise, Yukimura/Sanada crushes any other MS pair and probably HS pair. I would love to see Yukimura Seiichi and Sanada Genichiro VS Echizen Ryoma and Tooyama Kintaro but thats another story.

PoT made it pretty clear that just because you're a good singles player doesn't automatically mean you're a great doubles player. Time and time again it is shown that different factors are at work when it comes to doubles games, like player personality types and morale. There's a reason Echizen and Momoshiro weren't great doubles players at the start despite being great singles players.

But Yukimura, like Momoshiro, knows Sanada very well, they're close friends and also rivals.

If you put a pair of rivals like Sanada/Yukimura, then like Momo/Kaidoh, the combination would be fearful. Because Sanada and Yuki are beasts in singles and know well each other since they were young, and are very close friends, they would be probably the best MS pair out there, and crush all the top 10 pairs effortlessly.

Kintarou brings down their team, not to mention they absolutely SUCK in doubles together, as we've already seen. Sanada and Yukimura both would rickroll Kintarou, so basically it is a 2 on 1 against Echizen. Echizen goes into PoP, making Yukimura the weakest link on their team. Sanada goes Black Aura and becomes a stalemate. So really, the match you want to see is Echizen vs Sanada.

    Not at all hahaa.
Konomi says in the Pair Puri Vol 5 AFTER the MSers return that the top of the Middle School tennis world is Yukimura and Ryoma. So I doubt Yukimura is fodderized as of yet. I dont see Konomi throwing Yukimura behind after reading that interview.
But I wanna see a Yukimura/Sanada pair match. Yukimura can return any shot, BA breaks through any defense. Its too entertaining.

    Yukimura/Sanada vs Oni/Tokugawa.
    I'm going for Yuki/Sanada

Just noticed your tom-foolery here. Gosh I love saying 'tom-foolery'.
But yeah you think Sanada can stalemate PlotPowered!Ryoma? Please. Konomi has made it clear. Once Ryoma defeats someone in this series, he is ABOVE them. And thats it unfortunately. Which is why in the manga he is yet to have Ryoma defeat Tezuka leaving options open for Tezuka as final villain.

Oni and Tokugawa are different ages. So its not the same. They couldnt have been childhood bestfriends like Yukimura and Sanada.
I would like to see a Yukimura/Sanada pair a lot since the anime reminded me that they asked the MSers to pair up and Yukimura and Sanada immediately paired up thinking they would be a team. Had they been a team? Well no other MS pair could have touched them.

What are you talking about? We were talking about a HYPOTHETICAL match which has the absence of any storyline, context, or Konomi influence. Obviously if it was within the context of the plot, Echizen would win against anybody, even with freaking Horio as his partner.

Horio would return Rai with his unbeliveable and amazing luck somehow.

In no way was it clear you were talking ''HYPOTHETICALLY''. We werent talking hypothetically either, you may have misunderstood coz I was genuinely serious and I would like to see a Yukimura/Sanada VS Ryoma/Kintaro match lol.
Coz you clearly love Sanada, im wary of when you get carried away with saying how good he is.

If you were not talking hypothetically and you are genuinely wondering what the outcome of this match-up would be in Konomi's hands and in context, I would say you willfully turned off your brain, because no way in hell does any PoT fan not know that Echizen will win. So if what you claim is true, why on earth would you even be excited and "wonder" what would happen? Everyone knows what would happen. That's why I was speaking from a point of view that is out of context and using only what we know of the characters thus far. That's the only way it could be open for interpretation.

Also, I clearly love a lot of characters. That doesn't mean I'm bias in my speaking about them. I mean that's a pretty silly statement. I guess I shouldn't take seriously anything you say about Yukimura because you have an avatar of him, right? Maybe I'll just change my avatars whenever I'm speaking about that particular person and then switch it back so nobody thinks I'm bias.
