Ffff typo, my bad! The Kikumaru was supposed to be Ootori. So it's Eiji and Ootori who gets into a fight with Atobe and Mizuki. Eiji and Ootori are partner sick during winner camp, and Atobe and Mizuki confronts them in a bad way with it. Leading to ping pong match.

A Prince of Table Tennis Ep? oh well.
Couldnt they have given us a better filler OVA? Like how the MSer Winners went from the bottom to 8th and 7th Court, then to 5th and 6th Court in just one day?
Or something?
In fact, I wont moan, the anime guys although they have been crap with the story, they have had a good work rate for OVA's.

I also saw Yukimura and Fuji on the poster regarding the OVA, next to Atobe, Mizuki and Kikumaru and Ootori's faces.
Hopefully we'll see Yukimura haha.

I only think it will be horrible due to it not being about Tennis and it not being a flashback.
Flashback OVA's have always been excellent if we ignore the Tachibana/Chitose one. But since its based on Table Tennis hopefully we can get comedy from it.

Not with Ryoma. In POT (anime) he made a twist serve (serving like in tennis and everything). So unless you break the laws of physics I don´t think you have a chance lol

I can do that too. I also did Marui Bunta's "pole striking" technique once, but that was a fluke.

Yes. It will be the OVA featured in the 4th Blu-Ray/DVD that contains New Prince of Tennis episodes, and then an OVA episode. Just like the previous ones. It's an OVA where we see the winners in the camp. Eiji and Ootori are partner sick, and Atobe and Mizuki confronts them about it. Leading to a ping pong match. I guess it's like Prince of Volleybal/Yakiniku etc. just with ping pong this time. I would still love a Prince of Pillow fights from the chapters we saw. Maybe we'll see it on the disc with the last episodes on?

This OVA won't be out before October though. The next Blu-Ray/DVD (number 3) will be out around 24th of August. Containing the Shiraishi vs Kenya match with flashback, where we see the OB's Tetsuya Hara, Taira Yoshiyuki and Mouri Juzaburo.

I'm just curious to know what kind of tennis moves they'll incorperate into this pingpong match XP I'm just imagining Atobe using World of Ice and Chotaro using a Scud serve (which i guess he will)

Scud serve in Ping Pong? That sounds hard with the serving rule in Ping Pong. But He's better than me, so, I guess it'll be nice to see.

Not all of the moves, but a good amount. Fuji's Triple Counters are possible, one of them at least, from what I've heard.

Only Higuma otoshi would be coinsidered fault in ping pong. Other two are "possible".
As for other moves, I guess any move that isn't a serve or volley based are "possible".

I don't think Tsubame Gaeshi can be hit in Ping Pong at all. Far easier to do in Tennis. Ping Pong ball is pretty bouncy. As in, very bouncy.
