Why didn't Tsunade, Hiruzen, Jiriaya or Kakashi tell him about his parents?

On the the recent episode flashback where Naruto started his childhood life. Little Naruto asked Sarutobi who his parents were and what kind of people are they, but Hiruzen acted like an ass and said "telling about them would be pointless because it won't being them back from the dead".

Minato didn't know about Hiruzen intention.

Even if its not in manga, any little child would ask about who or what his parents were. I mean why wouldn't he not ask about them?

Naruto2011 is right,the anime isn't the truth. yet, it is supervisored by kishimoto himself,so since it deals with a "past action" we can assume that event is what really happened.

Well, tsunade, jiraiya and kakashi would not tell him because they were ordered by hiruzen not to basically. As for why hiruzen would order such a thing, no clue. Minato suggested such a thing would be done because it could bring about some sort of trouble in the village. Not quite sure what that would be though. Rather than assuming hiruzen loled at crying kid naruto when he was eating ramem alone in his filthy apartment I think we should blame kishi for not coming up with a good reason though.

Ya, I think it got worse when everyone and their mom, especially Ei, knew who Naruto's parents were. I mean, Seriously? The leader of the village that tried to steal from Konoha, Twice? I guess I always assumed that it was kept a secret so that Konoha's potential enemies wouldn't find out, but Kishimoto blew that out the fuckin window.

I didn't say the anime is the truth. Its part of the 10th anniversary of Naruto Animation, but its something that Naruto would ask about his parents and any orphaned child would wonder who parents. You can't pretend that Naruto never wonders who his parents were or what kind of people they were.

Most if not all excuses mentioned in this topic just doesn't work including what Minato said:

-protecting him from his family enemies - It does protect him from his father enemies but what about his mother side of family ? Uzumaki clan was famous earned renown and fear worldwide. his mother was kidnapped by Kumogakure ninja for being uzumaki(for her special chakra) and not jinchuuriki, nothing stops Kumogakure from trying to kidnap naruto. Also all TRULY dangerous people to naruto can easily find out who is jinchuuriki(most of already know): tobi was able do find where kushina will be giving birth, Kumogakure was able to kidnap Kushina and they tried to kidnap hinata from konoha(child from famous clan like naruto) also like it was said before in this topic: "Raikage wasn't shocked that Naruto asked him that he knew his father, and it would seems like A knew Naruto was the 4ths son but didn't care, and they were enemies that time.", Orochimaru probably know since he had spies in konoha(kabuto) he even had uzumaki in his hands(karin) with implies that he was interested in uzumakis, because of their incredible longevity and life force probably. we can see how successful hiding this information from enemies was <_< , no one targeted him because of luck(and PLOT).

-hiding truth about his parents so he wouldn't become spoiled/arrogant person - most of heirs of famous clans also would be spoiled/arrogant and yet they aren't, naruto has few people in his life that are like family to him(third hokage, iruka, Teuchi, Ayame), they would make sure that he wouldn't grow spoiled/arrogant.

for the most part, i agree

kishi's storyline is full of plotholes and retcons, and he's just dragging out a simple story about a whiney brat and his rival

he should just stop it all soon.. it's getting tiring imho
