Gamabunta

I'm taking best to mean. Coolest and most impressive. And, to me, Naruto's summoning of Gamabunta during his fight with Garra and Jiraiya summoning him during the Tsunade arc were definitely the high-points for summoning in the series.

Fukasaku. He's the most varied summon up to date. Although he works best in synch with Shima, I'm not nominating a duo, and Shima just isn't as cool to me. Fukasaku has gotten more development and is a cool character. It's a shame that he hasn't been in the story for so long. I really enjoyed his frequent screentime during the Amegakure and Pain Invasion arc.

I always like the original Manda...his fighting prowess was well shown against the other summons of the Sannin...use of deceit and ninja like techniques, plus great speed and power is all one needs from a summon
