I don't think he will be participating tho, since masters not allowed to be involved in the tournament, but a face to face meeting with Makarov will be interesting ^_^

Raven Tail is here. Laxus's team didn't come back yet.

Which leads me to suspect that Laxus is the amored and masked guy in the Raven Tail's team, for some reason, against his will I guess. His father planned something for him for a long time after all. It would be weird that nothing happened since. Besides the masked guy has light hair.

For the first Time i really fell out of my chair after reading a page. The arrival of Mavis as a cute little Girl really brought me down... Didn't see this one coming...

Lot of fanservice though with Mermaid Heel and the cute little sister within Lamia Scale. Not that it bothers me or something.

Chapter was really enjoyable and very very funny.

Why do i get the feeling, Mavis will fight along the other Fairy Tail members against the bad guys in this arc?

I don't know about the masked man, but I don't think it's Gajeel nor Laxus. I have a hard time seeing Gajeel coming back to RT, even stranger would be for Ivan to accept him after all these years. Laxus not being available foreshadows Ivan as "surviving" this arc. It did surprise though that RT didn't come first or second... Oh, also I smell a fake dragon slayer amongst the RT five, he seem to be a mix of Midnight and Cobra.

I sincerely hope that the last uncovered guild isn't Tartaros, those guys should have their own arc as the other two of the B'alam alliance.

EDIT: Is Mashima seriously bringing another psychotic girl into the mix? Hasn't he had one mentaly disturbed female or someone who have become one in every arc, now?

I'm not sure why, but I think the new guild is

1-Freed
2-Bixlow
3-Evergreen
4-Gajeel
5-Lily/MiraJane

They thought if we made 2 teams more chance for us to win this shit..not sure tho....or found out something about this event...or trying to save laxus form something..it's confusing Q_Q

But 80 % Laxus is the masked mage.

The masked guy is most likely someone we already know. Why else need a mask? For fashion?

As he's part if Raven Tail, it is even more likely that it is someone we already know who has a connection with Raven Tail. There are three people besides Makarov who have such a connection:

- Laxus: Ivan's (pls not Ewan, Makarov is "Russian" it makes more sense that his Son has a Russian name too) son, however he was so happy to be back with FT, him joining his father voluntary would make sense. He could be brainwashed however. RT beeing allowed as a normal guild hints at some manipulatory powers within this guild. Also he is a tall guy who likes wearing fur mantles.

- Gildarts: Ivans Rival, as hinted by his character sheet. Same as with Luxus, the only reason he could be there would mean he was brainwashed. Hes also tall.

- Gajeel: He worked as a double agent for FT. He could be back to his spying job. As Makarov did not know RT is going to appear, this would mean he's acting on his own. The attack on Wendy could have been a test for him to prove his loyalty. We all know that Gajeel has no problems taking such extreme methods. Or he's brainwashed.

The next chapter's title however made me think that Fairy Tail is going to have a second team. Fairy Tail has been named special and punks in the past. As Gajeel, Lilly, Team Laxus,
and apparently Mirajane and Cana are still missing, they could have formed a second team under a wrong name.

I also think that the mysterious team is indeed fairy tail's new team. Raijin Tribe + Gajeel. I think we shall believe the masked one to be laxus - but maybe iwan has a second son? Some sort of twin brother to laxus.. or well. 7 years have passed. Maybe lwan had another son he hid from makarov.

Well i guess we will see Blue Pegasus, Quatro Cerberos, Mermaid Girls Guild and Lamia Scale will lose quite quickly. Erza defeating yura will be her first step to become one of the 10 wizard saints.

Well i guess we will see Blue Pegasus, Quatro Cerberos, Mermaid Girls Guild and Lamia Scale will lose quite quickly. Erza defeating yura will be her first step to become one of the 10 wizard saints.

I agree with Quatro Cerberus, Mermaid Girls and Blue Pegasus. Im not sure with Lami Scale however. Jura is strong, Lyon and Grays Rivalry has become a huge plot element, and there's a new girl to showcase.

I think, from now on each chapter will be one of the tournaments rounds, until cerberus, mermaids and pegasus are out. From then on it will take more than one chapter.

Liked the chapter.

I really enjoyed it, even though it had decent emount of fanservice. Hope we'll see the end of Guild's introduction in the enxt chapter and finally getting to the begining of the Tournament.

It's going to be interesting, cause we'll see other strong members who made Sabertooth the strongest Guild in Fiore. And there is a good posibility that another Guild will contain some mages we already know, but I think they aren't FT mages. Maybe some from ex-dark guilds like Raven Tail.

Talking about Raven Tail... they really look powerful and Mavis felt evil presense from them, so I really see they should be conne3cted with all this event and they might be even connected with higher-ups among Magic Council or higher-ups of the Kingdom itself and have some evil agenda apart of destroying Fairy Tail.

About the masked man... I don't think he is Luxus (even though the posibility is quite high, but I think he is too high for Luxus)). I hope he is another mage and supposedly the most powerful after Ivan in the Guild.
