Damn... once more Togashi pulled off the best chapter of the week! It felt like you are watching a movie and at the end of the chapter you hear the clicking clock from 24.

It's funny how intriguing the empty eyes of Pariston really are... It's a great character that never flinches or shows any signs of emotion not even a little, stereotypical and sinister smile. Pariston is going to screw with Leorio's mind, I feel kind of bad for him. I guess that out of this arc we will receive good news in the form of a healthy Gon but bad news in the form of Pariston as the leader of the Hunters association.

Each chapter Cheadle seems less impressive, she really can't do anything without Ging.

Pretty cool staredown between Ging and Pariston, they both realize that Gon has been healed and Ging knows what that means to Pariston, what he will do next in the election.

Only flaw in what turned out to be another excellent chapter...better than the last one in my book. Its pretty obvious imo why Pariston sold Mizai that hard...it was to ensure that Leorio doesn't top 50% in this round. After this round Pariston would have to face another opponent, leorio, cheadle or mizai one to one if this round was crossed. Its clear that Pariston prefers facing Leorio rather than the other two,and its logical that he should be. Cheadle should've understood this much at least...being called the brain of the Zodiac.

Very likely outcome...however i'm more interested in Alluka and Illumi...i'd specially like to see how Togashi can link Nanika with Pariston's plan...if he indeed does so.

Alluka/nanika's power most likely...judging from illumi's reaction.

The hunters nearby react to the surge of power and comment on "such power" which we see starts as a white light born from Nanika's hands which expands to a blinding white light encompassing the entire hospital building. And we also have Illumi to seal the deal, since he wants to obtain "that power"

cant wait to see gon again after so many time being eat up by his own crushing willpower.. even if there is a goodchance that he will be himself agian ( young, and both arms) im pretty sure that there has been deep changes in his nen and abilities what you guys think?

Even if Gon gets healed it will lead to many interesting events. Will Gon be healed to perfect health as he was pre-maturation process? What will happen with Nanika, how will Killua stop his family from trying to use those powers? What will happen when Pariston reveals Gon is healed and possibly gets voted Chairman?

Considering that cloud is floating around Illumi, and then on the panel below it is enshrouding his face we can surmise that he is the one emitting that sinister energy. It is to express him going off the deep end and his ill intentions for Nanika.

Togashi is really slow at lifting the magnifying glass. That's quite enjoyable.

Pariston is a genius. Telling hunters to vote for Mizai was the best course of action which ensured Leorio wouldn't get the 50%
Mizai told his voters to vote for Cheadle which in turn sent her votes to Leorio, that mixed up the changing voters in 2 different directions which resulted in what we saw.

Brilliant! now Pariston might chose to do one of 2 options:
1. He could say since both him and Leorio are the only ones left that he's now the better choice since sadly Mizai is out.
2. Or Pariston gets word of Gon being healed (which is still not 100% sure btw), that leaves Leorio with no real plan or course of action as to what he wants to do when he becomes chairman.

Still fangasming on the chapter more thoughts to come after i read it 2 or 3 more times .

I think Pariston's next action would be have like 5 more guys abstain (they got 95.4% vote rate, so easy to fall below 95%), and just say, "I'm sure it's some of Miz's followers who can't decide who to vote for" while he figures out a plan to deal with Leorio. It's pretty clear Pariston is never going to get the 50% majority, and since he obviously didn't come in with a plan to deal with Leorio, he'd need a little time to think of something. He won't be able to stall indefinitely, but since Miz and Chidol didn't communicate, there's clearly confusion on where Miz's vote should be going at the moment and since you can't actually ask everyone who voted for who, it should be enough for him to use that excuse long enough for him to come up with another plan.

Actually, on second thought, I think Pariston is going to stall time until Gon is healed, because if Gon is healed, then Leorio no longer has a platform to run on. He'd just be like "Congrats your friend is saved, so what's your reason to run now?" Heck, knowing Leorio, he might decide to just quit when that happens.

Actually Leorio is the worst opponent for Pariston to face. Since he has no history, it is impossible for Pariston to have a plan to deal with him ahead of time. Further, the votes Leorio currently have + the one he picked up from his speech are guys who are extremely unlikely to vote for anyone in the Zodiac. Pariston, as Gin predicted, was never able to get 50% of the votes because he knows there's a majority of Hunters who would not for him no matter what. So all he is going for is ensure nobody else gets 50% either. The fact that people voted for Leorio, who is literally a nobody, suggests these guys don't like anyone in the Zodiac period, and without their votes nobody would get 50% either. It's not a matter of experienec/ability/etc. It's the fact that Leorio is the only guy who can pick up the votes from guys who do not trust the Zodiac as an entity since he is not part of the Zodiac.

Pariston supported Miz since his goal is to ensure no one else gets 50% (he cannot get 50%), and Miz and Chidol didn't communicate ahead of time. He can't sell Chidol because Chidol specficially said 'vote for Leorio' and her followers presumably trust her word more than Pariston. But for Miz's camp, who do you listen to? If you listen to Miz you'd vote for Chidol. If you listen to Chidol you'd vote for Leorio. If you listen to Pariston you'd vote for Miz. You can see the vote result that Miz's camp is probably confused (the 16 votes for Chidol is likely from them too), and this also helps for the final round, since now Pariston can use stall tactics via abstaining and just say the guys who are abstaining are really Miz's followers because they're confused (and they are).

But it looks like Pariston has all but won the election.

...Of course that could be what Togashi WANTS us to think and then Leorio comes from behind winning the election.
