Of course it is, how would he remove the Kyuubi? Gedo Mazo requires all the lower tailed beasts to be already there or it'll "break". And to remove the beast from within the seal must be weak (Kushina was in labor, and that's the only reason he was free to act then). If he ever kidnapped a Jinchuuriki he would have to kill it, thus losing the Bijuu altogether since it would reappear god knows where, and he would have to hunt it down just as he did previously anyway.

If he had the Kyuubi on the other hand (his plan when Minato died), and eventually had killed the witnesses, he would be free to keep it as a pet and hide away, just like he hid GM. But since he couldn't have it like that, it takes a lot less work to just bother with kidnapping the 9-tails after all the others are inside the GM. And of course, he had given the Rinnegan to Nagato, so he had to wait until Nagato grew up to start it all again.

The only reason he acted prior to having Gedo Mazo again was the fact Kushina's seal was weakened. Otherwise he has to wait until GM is available, meaning only when Nagato was available, and perhaps that one took an unexpected path.

Unless the timeline is more messed up then we think, Tobi should have already been manipulating Nagato at that time, so he should have had the Gedo Mazo available. Anyway, Tobi was apparently willing to wait some 12 years to begin gathering the Bijuus, not counting however many years he and Madara were originally planning things. So unless he's on an unknown timescale, waiting for a Bijuu to revive probably wouldn't have been devastating to him. Still, with his ability to summon and control the Kyuubi, he could have kept the Kyuubi as a pet regardless.

Nope. Not buying the whole flimsy set of excuses that try to say that Sauske can suppress the QB, but ET Madara, Tobi, Kakashi, or anyone else with a Sharingan can't. Bull honk.

I'm with the camp that says Sasuke won't be able to suppress the Kyuubi, however it isn't unreasonable to think he could. We've already been told by Itachi that Sasuke has the potential to exceed Madara, so it is really irrelevant that Madara couldn't do it.

Sasuke won't be able to suppress QB. If he could do that he would be able to suppress 8tails too. He did it once before only because Naruto has no control over QB whatsoever...Now that they are connected on deeper lvl he won't be able to enter this special dimension.

Tobi who has great knowledge of the kyuubi knew he had to wait for the seal to weaken inorder to have control over the kyuubi. And the kyuubi was never in sync with its host.

Now im not saying controling = supressing, but if it was possible, it would have been done already. And tobi has 6 paths with Sharingans, if its as easy as you guys make it sound, then im sure tobi considered it.

I just thought of something (sorry of someone already thought about it), since someone brought up Tobi has great knowledge of the Kyuubi... It seems that he does know all about the tail beast very well since the previous chapters he was able to use their moves. And he definitely know the three tails very well while he was controlling Yagura. But then... he is not Madara.

I hope this belongs here, I don't know if there is a separate thread about speculation on who Tobi is, but this subject is part of the ongoing chapter. Anyway, I think it is not somebody who control Nine Tail before. This is because Nine tail doesn't recognized his chakra. He recognized Kushina's chakra, but not this guy. Unless Kurama knows who Tobi is all along but did not tell Naruto.

I still think Tobi is Sasuke's dad (it makes sense because he would be the only one that can know about Kushina going off to give birth from talking to his wife). The reason I don't think it's the sage of the six path's son is because it's kind of weird for someone that old to go around pretending to be Uchiha Madara, someone of much newer generation. Whatever the case may be, it seems Madara is the boss of Tobi, not the other way around.

The jins can't be controlled anymore, they lack the rod that Tobi used to control them very much like Nagato did.
That, and the bijuus are inside the Gedo Mazou, so they're not Jinchuuriki anymore

Yes, they're still zombies under Kabuto control, but they can't move. I mean... Maybe Kabuto didn't attached a soul to the bodies like he did with Madara body when he blackmailed Tobi to make an alliance for the war.

The seal isn't just weak now, it is completely open. Naruto syncing with Kurama may have actually made things easier for Tobi. By analogy to get the Kyuubi out before he would have had to pick the lock, or batter down the gate that kept the Kyuubi in.. Now the door is already unlocked and open.

Done already by whom? This is the first crack anyone has had at Naruto where the seal is effectively a non-issue. And again Sasuke now has EMS, where as far as we know Tobi only has a regular Shiringan. It is practically a foregone conclusion that his 6 paths don't add to his power, they are simply able to take advantage of the power he already has.

they must have a soul. they were acting as robot because of tobi's rinnegan's 7 path,the outer world (as fought S,haku and zabuza and the others without mind). it makes no sense that they haven't got a soul,since kabuto summoned their souls with the EDO tensei in chapter 515.

I disagree. Naruto's FRS forced him to use his Rinnegan prematurely, also his oodama rasengan forced him to bring out his susanoo. Granted yes its not like Naruto made him break a sweat, but he did force him to use moves he wouldn't have otherwise. It simply means he can be beaten.

Naruto's FRS forced him to use Rinnegan? Seriously? No, it actually was the fact that Madara was busy fighting an entire ARMY, supported by Kages . Let me do a quick recap for you: Madara smashes the army with Susanoo, then Oonoki lightens the sand for Gaara, and in turn Gaara uses the moment of Madara being too busy with the numbers f ninjas to pull him out from his Susano'o. Only THEN Naruto uses his FRS. Hell, even Madara says the reason why he used Rinnegan: "There's too many of them.".

Same situation with Susano'o, really. The way you've made it sound like is Naruto actually done all of this by just using his clone without getting any help whatsoever. Yeah right, I think Madara clearly displayed that the only weakness he has right now is when he's being attacked by numbers, and Naruto was clearly out of his league if the fight was 1vs1.

both of them are right. madara would have been able to stop the FRS nonetheless,if he had used susanoo or other techniques. but he knew that he had to use the rinnegan,since the fight was about to become too much for him,as he confirmed. furthermore,he didn't expect gaara to throw him out of susanoo.

I already answered you,by the way, we saw their souls in the previous chapter,where they told anruto their names,therefore they ahve got souls and should be able to fight as zombies.
