This is just a very crazy theory that popped up in my mind, but maybe Ourouge chose the lightning island, because he tought if he can master it, he can take his revenge on Enel.

but there's no way he could know the island he picked would be a lightning rain island, unless he's been told before or been there himself. I personally think Urouge might adventure loving just like Luffy ( I mean why not?), and so he ended up picking the most dangerous route.

By the Nine Divines! Has Oda Sensei been playing Skyrim? haha. But poor Ussop, just when he was becoming brave and was man enough for paradise, he enters the new world and his manliness is stripped form him, LOL.

Anyway that chapter was great! I'm hoping that only Luffy can hear this dragon talking using his "voice of all things" ability, that he supposedly has, otherwise I think it'd be weird for the dragon to be speaking. Although I'd accept it if it was a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, or even some kind or experiment by Vegapunk like everybody else is saying. Although maybe it is too early to bring up Luffy's ability again?

I'm not sure why I remember this but, wasn't there something about Ryuuma "reading the dragon's heart" before he defeated it? What if he had a similar ability to Roger and Luffy too, sorry If that's kind of off topic but it's been bothering me since I saw the dragon speaking on the last panel.

Also Luffy and the crew running into an Island that the compass couldn't pick up just shows Luffy's talent for adventure haha, maybe it's an example of how he may stumble across Raftel in the far future, who knows!

The design of the bubble speech of the Dragon doesn't suggest that it's only Luffy that hears him/her. Oda used this type bubble composed of stroke of lines oftenly used when a character is speaking with his/her thoughts. So it's pretty clear to me that the Dragon really talk, it's either a Zoan or some sort of experiment, or Dragons in OPverse really can talk.

That's how you make the wait worth it! Although i never envisioned Fishman Island as an Introduction for the 2nd part of One Piece, it sure did its job brilliantly! This chapter ...
A very dense chapter with a lot of progress and a bunch of new mysteries makes you crave for adventure!

The only difference is the fact that with the dragon the speech bubble is coming directly from him like most speech bubbles do, unlike with the sea kings who don't have that and have "spikes" around the bubble. Also why does the dragon have to be a Zoan or an experiment or whatever? Have people suddenly forgotten what kind of creatures we have seen in OP? Having some of them show the ability to speak would hardly be out of the ordinary. Not to mention the fact that the NW probably consists of a lot of new things that people haven't ever seen or most likely ever heard of before. Not every creature has to be exactly the same, and if so then every white bear in the OP world can wear human clothing, walk upright, learn martial arts, and speak.

I'm gonna venture a guess and say that the "punk" in punk hazard relates to Vegapunk - sort of surprised franky didn't come to the island (obviously oda pre chose who comes or what roles ppl will have in this arc).

Ok, theory time! What could samurai from wano, the country of ryuma, possibly be doing at punk hazard where it just so happens there is a dragon? If we recall ryuma made a tad of history back in the day by killing a dragon. What if the legend of ryuma had enough of an effect for them to nowadays hunt dragons for whatever reason? Maybe for glory, maybe to surpass ryuma, maybe as a passing rite but I would think the samurai were at the island specifically for the dragon.

Now, if the wano country is going to be relevant then for a number of reasons it is likely it is going to be an arc of great importance to zoro. Not only zoro defeated ryuma's zombie, took the sword (which should be a national treasure of sorts perhaps) and he looks exactly like the original ryuma but also a country full of powerful swordmen is bound to be important in his quest. Zoro centric arc anyone?
