I think if Tsuna doesn't fight Iemitsu alone then Reborn's lesson was pointless. For Tsuna gaining more trust in his powers and maybe even finding the power to forget all the resentment he had towards his father i think an 1 vs. 1 fight is the right thing. Besides i doubt Tsuna would want help from his guardians this time, i mean here , this look in his eyes tells me he wants to fight him alone
