Ichiryu isn't leveling up, he's just rejuvenating his gourmet cells. With the way he is doing things now, I can tell that his fight with Midora will be inevitable and epic. It's 'Do and Die'. The winner lives but the loser would probably lose his life.
But he also mentioned about giving the future to 'those who can eat in the same table'. Is this a foreshadow? Meaning that he would eventually ???
I hope Ichiryu won't die. As we know in Toriko the person can be revieved practically from every condition if he will be treated by skilled Saiseya and if he eats a good ingridient.
And about giving the future for those who can eat in the same table... I believe he tried to show that the new Era will be ruled not by Acacia's disciples such as Ichiryu, Jirou or Midora, but by Four Heavinbgly Kings.
I wonder what Jiro is up to? You would think that he and Ichiryu would be teaming up for this, unless they 'don't eat at the same dining table' anymore like with Midora.
Everyone probably thinks Jiro is too much of a drunk to help out. LOL! But I think Ichiryu has already talked to Jiro and is counting him as a wildcard or something like that.
I actually believe that Jirou might be among those who reside now at Gourmet World in IGO's 0 Bioyope.
He should be among those top dogs who Ichiryu is gathering to counter any Bishokukay's actions.
He is also making Four Heavingly Kings progress as fast as it posible in order to be able not only to enter the Gourmet World, but also be able to lead Gourmet Age in future.
Seriously this thread should have more visitor than fairy tail. 4HK on action together for the first time, the old man getting serious, man what else do you need...
I'm thrilled about the Heavenly Kings all being together, but the ingredient is a fish. I hate seafood so I'm biased against this. When the three of them went after the Jewel Meat at least it was something I could picture myself eating. It hasn't been so long since they caught the Shining Gourami either. Look at the list items Toriko has gathered so far:
I was under the impression that the Madame Fish isn't on Toriko's list, but we still haven't seen him struggling to capture meat dishes in a while. The same for desserts. His dessert course was already decided early on, but it'd be cool to see him trying something new.
Yeah, I would've liked to see something like a dessert or another drink ingredient being as the focus of this arc. It almost sounds like the Shining Gourmai arc again, but I'm sure it will be made different in a major way. Outside of the 4 heavenly kings being there, the other thing I'm interested in is Rin supposedly holding back all the wild beasts in the area. I think that's where we are going to get most of the action.
Oh yeah...looks like early spoilers this week. I hope Toriko follows suit.
