That was a great episode. Superb artwork and the emotions were conveyed even better than in the manga. Kushina and Naruto really sold it with their voice acting, fantastic job on their part.

Also yes, Horriblesubs have started releasing their subs in 1080p. It's not this episode being special, Naruto has supported 1080p for a while now.

Wow...blown away. perfect episode....If you're a true naruto fan this would have teared you up a little (Me a little lot). The art work was on point. Not over the top in any of the filler parts. The chemistry between Naruto and Kushina was on the money. Just perfect. Cant wait for the next few episodes.

Aaaaaaah Minato-sama ... gosh nice animation, and art. But from the preview of the next episode its gonna be aweful style of animation whyyyyyyyyyyyyy? the best episode ever in Naruto and they put such a douchebag on that ep? why? why? why?

Actually its good that they put Rong on that episode, since the fight wont be in on next episode.
Next episode is about the beginning of kushina´s flashback, how she got the nine tails, how her clan is related to the senju clan, how the uzumaki clan was wiped out, how she talks with sasuke´s mom, a little bit of the birth and tobi etc, but i highly doubt we will even get to the point where tobi fights against minato.

The episode after that is made by yamashita (who is awesome) and im pretty sure the double episode wraps up the flashback and finishes the kyuubi fight with naruto.
If they did it like that, then they actually planned it out very well.

I'm so, so happy about this episode. I'm happy that the fillers were great, it was all touching, Kushina's personality was conveyed very well. Kid Minato is cute, funny and badass and Kid Kushina was soo pretty, more than in manga. Really, thank goodness they added stuff; the animation and art was top notch and overall, gotta be one of my fave eps now *as expected *

The next episode probably won't have the best art & animation, and IMO it'll be

Naru vs QB, so not sure about how that will look. But Minato vs Tobi will be the most effing epic thing ever

A masked man has taken Minato's newborn son hostage. Recovering his son, Naruto, and hiding him in a safe place, he hurries back to his beloved wife, Kushina.

Just look at the description of the episode, its obvious 247 will only cover a small part of the flashback.

The first half of the flashback is only talk and explaining, Hong Rong doing that instead of the double episode is the perfect decision. 247 might end with tobi taking naruto hostage, like it says in the description.

Yamashita is awesome and he is doing the double episode and that will finish up the fight in the flashback, the deathgod part and kyuubi vs naruto, so it actually couldnt have been better.

im pretty sure 247 is not gonna have any naruto vs kyuubi in it, since naruto finishes his fight against kyuubi only after his mother disappears, which wont happen until the flashback is over which definitely isnt over by episode 248 (just look at the description)

I liked this episode, there is only one thing I didn't like though. The way Minato took out the 3 cloud ninja.

We know that later A's squad recognizes who Minato is because of the special kunai with their tags that were used to save Kushina. So to leave that out seems weird.

Fantastic episode!It made me love Kushina even more.The way she beat the crap out of everyone was hilarious!

Animation was top-notch as well.Especially the part where Minato attacks and several facial expressions here and there.

Next week has crappy animation,but it did not need any great animators when looking at the content,so it's fine.
