Sins of a Solar Empire

This is the thread to talk about anything related to Sins of Solar Empire...I found this game a few years ago, but I think it deserves to be mentioned because of the upcoming expansion, which features new factions, graphic overhauls, new units, basically enhances the epic feeling of the game.

Of course the new expansion is not the only topic, because we have some previous installments, and the game also has a healthy modding community, which produced lots of awesome stuff.

(haven't even seen a proper trailer of the series yet.. ) even though I hear the name quite a lot when searching for another space games ^^

Yup, yup...been playing it for some time now...and I'm waiting for the Star Wars mod to come out for it...I dunno if there are any trailers, but you could search for the opening cinematic...that is definitely uploaded, and check out some gameplay vids as well...it's an awesome game if you like sci-fi and have patience

I have my hands full with X3:AP and Endless Space while waiting for X:Rebirth
I was just curious about it, cause I've heard good things about it and the only reason I haven't tried it yet is because for a space strategy they said it lacked on the econ front...
