Silver King Isley: "I dont want to die... Even if that makeshift family was all nothing more than an illusion doomed to someday fall apart.. I so wish, so wish it could have lasted the tiniest bit longer."
Helen: "Wait. You're worse off than the rest of us. How can you even stand?"
"Yes...he's delicious...his guts were superb" Yomi Zaki
"This little girl that's not even half my size.....taught me that tears can flow even from these silver eyes."
- Teresa at the end of Chapter 15.
Riful, Chapter 47
"My goal isn't your death. I will just torture you, make you awaken and then make you my friends!"
This quote says a lot about Riful's character.
There are many quotes I would like to see in this category but I'll go with nominating this one because of impact it left on me (it's even better after we better knew how strong and fierce Prissy really is):
Helen: It's hopeless. This is the end. There's nothing I can do. It's like he said. This is true despair.
Clare: Despair? After only this? I've known a greater opponent and felt true despair.
Clarisse: Who are those people?
Miata: Strong... Among them there are two with a smell of power. They're all strong but those two are far strong than the others, they stand out among all seven.
Regarding this quote, it's pretty obvious that Clare is one of the two strongest however the other one may not be Miria, the second obvious choice. Then who could be??
Chapter 87: pages 12-14 Helen vs Isley
But this quote in particular
Helen: No matter how much I sink my blade into his body...No matter how much I slice this bastard up...I don't get the slightest sense i can defeat him. In fact the more I drive my blade through his flesh The surer i feel that his blade will come slicing back at my body with greater force.
It's always been kind of speculative what it was like fighting an AO. You always knew they were incredibly powerful and near unstoppable but Helen pretty much puts into words the exact feelings of going up against this sort of power in a way that we the reader's can fully grasp and take measure of. This quote allows the the reader to grasp how terrifying Abyssal's are in a first person perspective for the first time... A half dead Isley makes time skip Helen feel powerless, that says everything that needs to be said about Abyssal level
jean to galatea: I had already lost this life. I do not intend to stretch it out at the cost of my honor.
"I'm really not interested in insignificant weaklings like you..."
- Priscilla to an awakened Beth
"Superb" ,do i have to add something else?
Malak meant the scene just before Rigaldo was killed by Clare in volume 11. Although, personally I don't see it as a candidate for this award. In Viz version it's "magnificent" IIRC so much depends on how it's translated into English and it all comes down to which word sound better in one's opinion. It could as well be "exquisite", "marvellous" or another synonym.
"Big words for being such a sad mess .. you certainly talk trash like Number 1 and because you don't understand you are Number 2" Bishō no Teresa, Extra Scene 1, Claymore.
