Shattering of stone sculpture
It's just terrific. Honorable mention to every single undercover of the volumes.
Clare looks gorgeous here. Entire volume 8 was just great artistic-wise.
when the stone sculpture shattered and inside it was Clare's claymore sword.
The first picture of Isley's awakened form in Chapter 63. The centaur form of Isley is one of Yagi's best designs.
For me it was a toss up between several scenes, including Teresa Death, the moment in the woods where Teresa embraced Clare, Isley's Death but I believe Jean's Death is by far the the best one. Yagi has drawn many intricate panels that rich in detail, however, this simplest looking one evokes such a strong emotional reaction. You can't help but be moved to tears. It's Jean sacrificing life so that Clare may live.
Yes Isley's awakened design is amazing. I think that is the most artistic thing in Claymore.
Ch. 50, p. 156: Miria's arrival to the meeting at Pieta (see here) I like Yagi's winter-scapes in general, this one stood out.
Merged sisters (Rafaela/Luciela), as seen in Chapter 82. Beautiful and creepy at the same time, a work of art.
although I liked this one:
but the cover of chapter 92 is the best:
Ikuno-chan grew up into a scary-pretty woman
