So technically Oro is picking lilly's in a field somewhere..while in reality..he is in a bottle in itachi's head. Hahaha sounds pretty miserable to me, even with the Genjutsu.

i imagine some1 rubbing itachi's gourd- yeah i know it is ethereal- and orochimaru appearing instead of a genie.

Well, yes and no in my opinion. He took a "by any means necessary" approach to the safety of Konoha. If that included removing who is currently in power or ordering the slaughter of an entire clan or using Orochimaru or ordering his subordinates to sacrifice themselves, so be it. Even at the moment of his death you get the sense he would of been satisfied if the sealing technique actually killed Tobi and Sasuke for the sake of Konoha and the ninja world. After all, we were supposed to understand I think that he was waiting for his chance to sacrifice himself since his parents sacrificed themselves for the safety of the village. Just back in the flashback, he clearly wasn't ready. We also got the sense that ever since he was little he was chasing after Hiruzen just like Naruto has been chasing after Sasuke (just not in the literal sense like Naruto).

But its odd that the other elders just heard of Danzo's death from Kakashi and were like "we lost a great one... moving on". I mean they were with him since the beginning and obviously liked him since all the elders seemed to be on the same page. I doubt Kishi wanted us to cry for him, but he did gloss over his death. I don't think Kishi wants to do that with any of the rookies. Especially if they are killed by Zetsu or ET who don't even matter. If someone is going to kill the Rookies, it has to be someone like Sasuke, Kabuto or Tobi so Naruto can have a meaningful battle with them, and not just one shot Rasengan them.

I didn't get the feel that he was waiting to sacrifice himself. I thought that last fight of his was Ironic. The coward too scared to achive anything great with his own power was suddenly brave with all those sharingan, and then when Sasuke tricked and mortally wounded him, he reflexively started to run away. It was more like he felt he should be respected and praised because of his lineage but he was a coward. Sacrifice was the way of the ninja to him just as long as it didn't involve his sacrifice. And the flashback Kishi gave him just supported that. He died pining over his lost ambition, not the sprouting leaves or the safety of the village.

I think we see him in completely different lights. I liked his character. I think he was done well, but I also think Sasuke did Kinoha a solid when he ended him. And it was good that Danzou couldn't hide while other people were being killed this time. He had to face the consequences of his actions head on.

I always wondered how Madara made the "blood contract" required to "Kuchiose" summon the Kyuubi....guess you can just "sharingan" any beast into your own little pet....

He was the only one able to do it, so I imagine there was something more to it. We may or may not find out.

Bliss for Oro is picking apart corpses and licking little boys, so he probably isn't picking lilly's, unless there is some new reason for guys to be named lilly, and then for them to gather in one place.

Are any of Luke's major friend characters died in Star Wars?

You mean aside from things like the charred corpses of his aunt and uncle practically at the beginning of the first movie..? His wingmen and Jek Porkins going down in flame while he watched? His gunner Dak dying right behind him in the second movie.. Han being tortured? Luke having his own arm chopped off? I guess the scorched Ewok in the last movie doesn't count since that was more Han/Leia's friend..

You seem to have a pretty extreme case of selective memory when it comes to Star Wars..

Almost every single one of those deaths had more impact the the gratuitous destruction of an entire planet... So far Kishi has done the rough equivalent of the "Force Cried Out" scene, just telling us a bunch of people died, not even giving us an actual destruction scene.. And not a single one of the more personalized and impactful deaths.

All deaths in Naruto has a purpose, and I'm glad it's that way. I don't need a panel having Kiba said "well, I can't believe we lost Shino, but at least the war is over." Who want that scene? I'm glad Kishi is not that kind of writer. Really.

Showing that war isn't just a scuffle is a purpose. Is it really too much to expect that a full scale Shinobi war should have more impact than the invasion of Konoha during the Chuunin exam? Or a single attack by Tobi and the Kyuubi..?

What if Itachi gives Sasuke the sword of Totsuka and Sasuke accidently releases Oro and Nagato..that would be so badass. and then Oro bites Nagato and Nagato becomes Oro and all hell breaks loose...ok, calm down. I am getting excited..there are so many ways for things to spin out of control. Kishi can do so much with this war, I cant wait to see what he has in store for us over the next couple of months.

I think sasuke has aready got them,but he isn't accustomed enough to his new eyes yet.I mean both Totsuka sword and Yata mirror. and the only way to see orochimaru again is through Totsuka sword (unless kishi doesn't create some other devices),and that would be a good opportunity to dispose of nagato again,since he was pretty important and connected to Madara,it's better to see him again rather than to see other new/pointless characters.
