Epic chapter

I especially liked the part where Kwon acted like he was indifferent to shion's decision when he really wanted him to join. And then shion goes "BUT" and you can see he melted lol

before shioon even finished asking he was probably thinking "BITCH please, im already calling the forces in to make this official, watch me pound the ways of epic martial arts into you!" haha

The last three S.U.C leaders look sTRONG! IMO the new girl is the weakest of the 'three leaders just introduced' because she talked..a lot..idk usually the ones that talk less or don't talk much at all and introduced in shadows are the strongests..

PS:WHY is sera trying to save shioon if she believes he'll change or already changed kwon's mind for the better? ISn't he safer with kwon then if thats the case? or maybe she's not saying what she really wants to say...that she misses him? lols

To all the complainers last week: THERE WE GOT A CHAPTER WHERE WE LEARNED SOME THINGS. Awesome chapter, I can't wait to see Shioon get more training, hopefully he can up his foot technique skills. Looks like The Mask is not one of the 5 captains, the outline of the girl and guy captain reminded me of the 3 people Shiho and 9AD fought in the building back in part 1. It's only a matter of time before Shioon and 9AD meet up again muahahaha.

I am going to guess the guy on the rooftop in number 1, the chick is number 2, and the guy on the stairs is number 3. I am just judging this by how all 5 of them are positioned, could be totally wrong.

thats a good transition chapter and it looks like my speculation is right on the previous chapter that Shioon's mother is missing/kidnapped (and Shioon also notice that but Sera just give Shioon a lie about that)

and 2 new captains :P and Shioon becoming the Head is good :P

Pretty interesting stuff.

Now that Shioon is embracing his role as a member of the Sunwoo clan a little more I suspect they will gain members at an alarming rate. Shioon's harem alone is going to be the equivalent of a small army soon.

As for Shioon's mother, wasn't she somewhat sickly? If I recall correctly, in chapter 39, Sera had someone brought to the hospital that she didn't want to tell Shion about for fear of causing him to waver in his training. She seemed pretty conflicted about whether to tell him or not and the timing would be about right. So it seems likely she's hospitalized under Sera's care.

So as we thought, the Mask is just a messenger for the 9AD wanna-be (probably one of the Heavenly Way heads). Also I'd say the quiet guy on the stairs is the strongest captain, then probably the new girl and the loud dude on the roof.

Well that final page answers the question just who is the SUC and who are they working for. We now found out that they are offering 9arts Seoul, which is what 9arts asked for when talking to the Head of the Black Forest Defense, the German guy.

Another question brought up this chapter is: just how are the regular members of the SUC able to use Ki attacks without having any knowledge of the Murim?

It just means that someone taught them how to use it without telling them about the murim like shioon who didn't know anything about how it worked until sera told him lol

This chapter just points out that the head of black forest defense IS the one impersonating 9AD...after all The real 9AD doesn't care about SUC as shown in chapter 36. He did say he might care if they brought him seoul(but i think he meant it as a joke) BUT i think the head of BFD really wants 9AD's name to be used this way and for SUC captains to truly meet 9AD so he's going to such lengths as giving them such request under the guise of 9AD.

What getting seoul means i wonder...is it taking over the city? or something else...thats the question.

Seoul is considered the the very center or capital of the murim world, taking over Seoul is in a way, equivalent to conquering the murim world at least symbolically anyway. The Martial Arts Alliance base of operations is probably there, and a lot of other clans bases as well I suspect.

Shioon's mother was stated to be in a critical condition in earlier chapters, this chapter confirms it even more. I'm guessing Sera wants to tell Shioon about his mother now that Jinie's safe now.

This is just from my experience from reading manga, manwha, light novels, but antagonists that talk a lot are usually the weaker ones. The louder a dog barks, the weaker they are. The new female SUC seems very weak and insecure to me, hiding behind 9AD's name like that. Though she has nice legs and hair similar to Vera Linus from Veritas, if I might add lol.

Anyway, the glasses SUC captain is the only one who has reservations about conquering Seoul and fighting Shioon again. More importantly, I want to know where's the dark doctor and Shiho's revival coming along, and Sosul.

@Jammin I want the goth girl to join the Shioon fanclub too. She seems like the type to change sides easily for personal reasons, plus she has an inferiority complex. She's almost ready for Shioon's cupid punch.

Yay finaly the chapter is out . I was so waiting for it

It was a great chapter , i liked that Elder Kwon decided to trust in Shioon though i didn't expected for him to make Shioon the new head and Shioon accepting that but well doesn't matter , at least he's goona get all the attention and all the help of Sunwoo clan now and restore his Ki center faster
But lol i have to say that Elder Jun rocks , at 1st i didn't particularly liked him 'cause he was trying to mess up with Shioon but now i just can't believe how attached he is to Shioon . Like i said some time ago , you just can't resist Shioon , he's like a drug and it's impossible to not become addicted once you know him better

AS for those other 3 leaders of SUC , hmm i don't know but hearing what they are talking about , always about GMR it just seems idiotic to me considering they don't even know the guy , they never learned anything from him , yet they are talking about being his followers and crap like that . Seems like from the next chapter on Seoul is gonna become hell , I hope Shioon will recover quickly and wipe those smug smiles from their faces
OH and i wonder what happened with Shioon's mother . The mystery concerning her is getting bigger and bigger , was she kidnapped or something by the SUC

@matzik: can you really blame the captains of the s.u.c. for following nine arts name blindly. that guy almost singlehandedly invaded the alliance headquarters( an organisation basically untouchable up to this point), crushing many highly skilled martial artists along his way and finally beating up the head of the alliance to a pulp, all these things practically made him some kind of messiah for all those who don´t agree with the way the alliance handles things.

honestly, at this point i don´t expect much from the s.u.c. alone. i mean they have 5 captains at the top from which two would get beaten by shioon in his current state and they have the entire alliance and the sun woo clan as enemies. things would get interesting though if the
heavenly ways clan would support the s.u.c.( as we know, the messenger and the end of this chapter is a member of the clan).

it would be messed up if shwoons mother ended up dead and he did not know about her being missing and that sera knew about it. she will probably try and contact him soon to speak to him.
