Where is everyone getting ideas that Law did something to Luffy's body during his surgery? I don't mean to sound obnoxious, but I can't see Law doing that, unless I missed something. I think Law saving Luffy was an act of respect, similar to Roger/Whitebeard. They're probably going to fight, but I just picture Law as being an allied pirate to the Straw-Hats. Hopefully, I'm wrong because Luffy vs. Law would be epic!

I tend to agree here.. While Law has been shown to be cruel and is known for his plotting, I don't think he'd cheapen any future encounter with Luffy..
Also from Law's and Ivankov's interaction it seemed to me personally, Law has a friendly rivalry with Mr. Mugiwara..... That's my take anyways..

I can see how Law will provide assistance for the SH in getting away from this island, or at least tie up Smoker and his crew....
Here's to hoping things come together soon... (Bad split up Samurai pun...)

Law sent the WG 100 pirate hearts, so that qualified him to be allowed to join the Shichikubai. The only thing with doing that is, Law has now shown his alliance against "pirates" and that will make him as much as an enemy to Luffy, Kidd or any other pirate in the New World. I pretty sure, the entire Pirate World knows of what Law did to become Shichikubai and he really f**ked himself in a way. But, it's as i suggested earlier, this could be a part of some plan of his to acquire One Piece.

plus, i think he did something sinister to Luffy, when he performed surgery on his body after the Marineford battle and Luffy will find out, when the two meet again. and that seems to be sooner than I thought.

every warlord is "in war" with other pirates. jinbe hated pirates but WB,Crocodile killed other pirates ecc. the whole pirate system is a "bellum omnia versus omnia" ( all out war?) so it doesn't matter if a pirate kills other pirates. but I really agree with you,what he did to luffy may have a side effect to our pirate king.

Than half of the Shichibukai Boa, Moria and Blackbeard were the exception? An apprentice is part of the crew, I don't know why you are hair-splitting about that. They clearly had no intention of leaving his crew until Roger disbanded them. If the Gorosei had time to decide what will happen to the escapees, they should have had time to decide about the important positions of shichibukai too, especially if those Shichibukai could stop some of the other ID escapees and new generation of pirates coming after WBs speech. So the seven warlords balance the three big powers, but what do they do in the remaining 99% of their time not fighting in wars? Taking out pirates and living a free live.

One of the ways in which Shichibukai help maintaining the balance is by cutting off the flow of new pirates to New World. Just imagine any average pirate crew running into Buggy's new crew... You can try to delude yourself, but you know, as well as I do that Buggy has become one of Shichibukai, even though it doesn't make much sense. But then again, Buggy surviving all these years and through all the latest events doesn't make sense either. If anything, Oda is consistent.

And I'm not even sure about the story of 100 hearts yet. It could easily have been a public spin from WG side. Who knows.

@Schabark... Boa owns pirate crew who all knows haki... BB gave ace(commander of WB, son of PK) .. and Moria was a freak (anyways they disbanded him ) ...
@Razh ... the idea of buggy as a schichi ridicule me .. and that's one of the reason i made the prediction of it not suiting compared to what law has done.. I can see with both of yourr posts that buggy is a schichi (definitely considering the black bat) ...

so for now 7 schichi's are - doflamingo, hancock, mihawk, kuma, law, buggy and ?? (one more from supernovas??)

No worries then, since I think that is exactly Oda purpose here. Buggy is a joke character and this is just the continuation of his adventure. The more ridiculous the difference between what he really is and how people see him, the more funny it will be.

Well I may be the only one, but these new Robin jokes lost of their charm compared to the first time Oda used it. A kind of Sanji nosebleed feeling.
It's quite weird because I have no problem with her dark humor or Brook skull joke.

I noticed that as well. Also what is stunning is that Usopp, even though he has reacted lustfully towards girl before, was not that fond of it, well I guess Robin is older and not his type. Nice comedy there though, even though I could not help but see a little sparkle of Robin x Usopp.

I understand why many people think that about him , after all if you look at him he's always so calm and composed , almost always with a smile on his face so you tend to take him as a good guy , without dark thoughts but IMO he's exactly the opposite.

I think Law knows too well that between all the Supernovas , Luffy was the most blessed guy so to say . He had formidable allies (Boa , Jimbei , Rayleigh , Ivankov and here i'm just naming the ones who definitely stand out and are indeed powerful ) and even made a name for himself during the war of the best . From back then Law was always looking at Luffy with some kind of envy (i want to make clear that's just my opinion ) . He knew he's a guy he had to gain his trust and not make himself look like an enemy in his eyes.
He helping Luffy was a facade. And while doing that he come up with the plan we're about to see develop from now on , that's what i think

I'm thinking that the boss of the centaurs is going to be named Chiron who was a famous centaur from mythology that trained alot of the heroes making the CC on the denden mushi stand for someting like Chiron's Crew. His size would indicate he is possibly an elephant centaur. Of course him just being a giant wouldn't surprise me at all. And I'm surprised no one has said it yet probably waiting for her to be named, but the harpy joins the crew and becomes the lookout of the SHs.

While you think I portray Law in too favorable a light, I think you are demonizing him. Up until now Law hasn't done anything that would make him seem "good" but with the exception of the delivery of 100 hearts to the WG, he hasn't done anything to qualify him as evil either.. Evil like BB or DoFlamingo for example. He's not into slavery or screwing over anyone who can fit into his plans... I can (Personally) see a long rivalry growing between Law and Luffy... Based on respect and capability and the desire to win at all costs....

I mean he did save Jean Bart from the Tenryuubito, and while it's debatable on why.. He saved Luffy.. So even if he has some other motive, I doubt he would injure a defenseless Luffy... That's just so low brow no class...

I could be very wrong and maybe it's all been a ruse to snap his fingers and turn Luffy into a cripple. But I doubt it....

However we have seen that Law is a calculating and mysterious guy. There's no doubt he has a plan for gaining power and status, seemingly with the aim of becoming PK. So while he's not going to be Luffy's drinking buddy, I also doubt that he's out to make Luffy suffer.
They are rivals, and out for the same goal.. Becoming the PK.

If that is true.. i wonder how luffy would be able to stand against Law when law is the one treated him of his wound which has became the scar added on to his personality... But I really loved their first fight together when law kidd and luffy were fighting alongside against marines... with a look of "I will not lose to you" ....

What would be funny is to see the encounter of SHs with Law.... which turns into floating body parts of robin and nami and if that by mistake got stuck to sanji ... ..

Probably Big MoM(1/4 King's).Luffy did start a war with her.Im not quoting,on the denden mushi,she said:

Come Monkey D.Luffy.Come to the new world and face me.(Something like that,cant remember at best )

Btw : BIG SPOILER ---- Big MoM is Lola's real mom. Lola is from the thriller bark ,the one that Nami gave a bit of treasure .Remember when Lola gave Nami the paper so when she gets in the New World,she can find her mom...
