IMHO, people should switch the sections from review to review in order to gain more experience. Everyone should at least have once tried out every section, after that he can decide what section suits him the best.
So, what happened to leaving it up to the people in the review, as well as leaving, Alpha? :P
Indeed, I agree that you should switch around, because then you can get a new perspective on things. We'll end up with different impressions and different predictions. My predictions aren't going to be the same as Kevin's, for example. I might have more similar impressions to Alpha, but not completely.
Well, I'd prefer to do Predictions since it doesn't take me that long and plus with my schedule I will be up to anything :3
Fine. You still need to distribute the other two sections between scav and frosty. And you need to make sure scav becomes active in the first place.
Yes, we need something...Take some action here, Kevin.
KD, let me get this straight. Being the Bakuman team captain, brings it's responsibilities.
Get. Scav. In. Here.
If that's impossible, think of a way to substitute him.
Sent Scav a PM. Frosty what section would you like to do?
lol.didn't post here cuz i don't get how you guys organize your reviews? before deciding the categories. i think you need first to decide the pattern/plan of the review.
there are many ways to write a reviews:
for example we can do:
-a long summary
personally i'm not much into deep art analysis. i just give one line or 2 about the art.
when i wrote a review with Jammin we used that pattern http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showth...by-scav-Jammin
-summary page per page or event per event wrote by me
-Jammin 2nd thought added on each, to complete the summary
also personally i like to insert, short jokes and smiley in my reviews to make them easier to read, and more enjoyable to read and write.
So yeah before splitting the work, i think we need first to decide on a pattern. thought trying new patterns can be fun too
Scav, I was thinking of keeping it to the format that we used for the JR of Chapter 168 that we did two weeks ago. Which can be found here. http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showth...nd-Declaration
The pattern for the JRs has been long since decided. Analysis, Impressions, Predictions. The last two section can be handled only in one way, while the Analysis section will turn out different every time, because every reviewer has his/her own style. In other words, it is impossible to set "patterns" for the Analysis. You can set them for yourself. Not for others.
I think we should do this JR like this.
Predictions will be done by me.
Impressions by Frosty
Analysis by Scav and we can switch this around each Review?
