The chapter starts with Takao leaving the fatty cerberus to M21 and Regis and going to help Takeo, and he takes the D pill. The fatty then rants at Regis "wtf is this kid doing here?!" Regis then asks M21 if he can still fight, and then there is a slight bickering between the two yet again. The boxing fatty cerberus gets pissed off and says "Why you! How dare you keep your attention away from me!"(implying he is too strong to be ignored). Then Regis replies, "Stop complaining you aren't getting enough attention..."
This pisses of the cerberus and he attacks. Regis and M21 commence the fight. The fight goes on and Regis seems to distract the cerberus while M21 keeps on hitting him from the back. Then Regis thinks how this cerberus is supposed to be stronger than Kranz but he says he has gotten much stronger since then and it goes back into a flashback.
The flashback is right before Regis leaves for Lukedonia. Karias is training Regis and Karias complains how he had to be Regis' sparring partner. Regis then apologizes for bothering Karias however Karias replies that it is fine, and tells Regis he is too naive. (more like straight forward and honest? Naive has too much of a negative connotation while the word used had much more of a positiveISH connotation.) Karias then says he is a typical Landegre and that all of Regis' attacks are way too "straight forward","honest", "rash", or in longer string of words "goes into the fight without thinking". (meaning fighting with pure strength). Karias then goes onto say that if Regis meets someone exactly like him who is above him, in terms of strength, he will not be able to win. By this Regis is shocked.
Karias goes onto explain that battling is not just about going against your opponent with brute strength. He explains that for a long time the Nobles have had no opposition in terms of power henceforth the Nobles never bothered to increase their speed, skill, control, and other properties since the they have always been the strongest. The Nobles have really just "stood still" on the same spot of strength, unlike the humans who always saw their own flaws and moved on.
Karias then says the total weakness of the Nobles is this; they rely too much on their overwhelming power and strength compared to other beings. Not only in battle does this become a big flaw but in life in general. He explains in battle, one should be able to control the amount of strength they exert, use ambushes effectively, and change speeds when necessary. However the Nobles always were the strongest, so they never bothered to even pay attention to these aspects.
After ranting and criticizing the Nobles Karias then says "However Regis, you are different from those fools". He goes onto say that Regis has had "near death" experiences, saw his comrades in danger of dying, lost to an opponent stronger in terms of strength, and even felt despair in the midst of a battle. And due to these experiences Karias says Regis is trying his best to become stronger.
Karias tells Regis that he has already become very strong, just due to those experiences. He also tells Regis do not feel like you need to rush for more power since you have already went through the hardest step. Karias then finishes off telling Regis that Regis and Seira are a vital part of the Nobles who are in need of change. He then encourages Regis to stay like this even when returning to the human world, always aware of his flaws, and that he is not perfect.
We are back to the fight and Regis says if it wasn't for Karias he would have just went head-on without thinking too much about it, and thanks Karias for his words. The fight ensues, and just before the boxer fatty cerberus is defeated, a cerberus with a... Scytheish fork comes out and saves him. The new guy with the fork tells the boxer guy that an elder is on his way to Korea. And the boxer guy is like "why is an elder visiting us?!" and the guy with the fork says we have to finish these guys off before the elder arrives.
The two cerberus suspect M21 and Regis are working for Dr. Cormbel and believe they must be captured and stopped before the elder arrives. We then go back to Tao who is cornered but saved by Takao. The hawty red-head cerberus finds them and is about to join the battle but Yuri shoots a laser through her chest; betraying her. Yuri then says he isn't "betraying" and he has his reasons for killing her and tells her to die quickly cause he doesn't have enough time.
It also seems the red-head can't counter attack cause Yuri was somehow able to suppress her powers with that beam attack. End
I did this really quickly so expect a lot of grammatical errors and stuff like that, forgive me and if you find anything just lemme know. I'll be re-reading it again just to double check, hope it makes sense! Also the flashback sequence was kind of hard for me to translate since I don't do this very often xD, so yeah it might seem a little awkward.
EDIT: Made a lot of changes so if you already read it, just read the flashback sequence again LOL.
