Kabuto has white snake powers. There is nothing simple about just removing something like that snake. He'd probably just keep regrowing it, or the snake would grow a whole new Kabuto or something. I certainly won't be as pleased as you if Itachi, fresh from the dead, gets to finally team up with his brother and Kabuto unplugs his sharingan. I don't think Itachi's gonna be around for a very long time. I don't want possibly his last appearance to be a giant troll.

About the snake, you're right about it regrowing, but people were talking about it as if it were special. Just because he has the ability to spawn snakes doesn't mean they all are high level snakes with the same abilities. If Naruto loses Fukusaku and Midori, he cant just summon up another toad that's automatically got the same skill set as they do. About Itachi, this can't end without him getting trolled anyway, so... I guess we have to settle for the lesser of two evils. He has to lose some how, and his Genjutsu has to be handled in some way that it doesn't immediately defeat Kabuto. It has to be made a non-issue, and I don't think a snake is the real key. I expect something more technical than "my ass is Genjutsu retardant".

after the fight against deidara,sasuke restored very quickly,yet,it didn't mean he couldn't be hurted,again a stronger enemy even he would have died. so kabuto's snake surely will help him,but it won't ensure him to rest alive.
