One of the things that makes me doubt that all animals are capable of teaching sage mode is the fact that Hanzou didn't have a salamander sage mode, if anybody was going to use sage mode it would have been him.

Well Hanzo didn't get a chance to use damn near anything at his disposal. Mainly because Samurai Jack.... you no what, no. That's an insult to jack. Mainly because Mifune just so happened to be fast enough to prevent him from using hand seals. So even if Hanzo did have a sage mode he wouldn't have been able to activate it anyway.

Well, I meant a new level of Sage Mode for Naruto

I would say sage mode isn't like the Cursed Seal. However, in light of resent events.... Even if there was a second version of sage mode, I have no clue How one would go about accessing it.

This is true. However, what would his have accomplished? Simply showing that he had a sage mode? He still wouldn't have been able to to anything anything with it because of Mifune. And honestly, why introduce an ability for someone who can't make use of it? Of course, I'm not saying that hanzo had a sage mode.

Re: The Last Sage Mode: Its on Shikkotsurin, the slug island, where Tsunade trained with Katsuyu, all the referernces that Kishi has left us, clearly point towards the Slug Sage, which is why Tsunade is fighting with Madara at the same time as Kabuto fighting with the brothers. I dont have to mention the relationship that Boss Gamabunta and Katsuyu have, when they fought Oro and Manda, Gamabunta mentioned that it had been a long time since they'd been together, theres also the time that Jiraiya used, he interrupted a snake and toad fight, the fillers show katsuyu in Myoboukuzan with Gama and Grand pa.
Tsunade should soon showcase her skills with Slug Techs, i.e Katsuyu's ability to split into many, or acid or something........ cos shes letting the side down as far as Hokage Level shit.

I agree. Oro, jiraiya and tsunade. a frog, a snake and a slug. The 3 of them came from the myth. So yeah, tsunade must have the slug sage mode. Afterall, the 3 of them has a large chakra capacity that suit for a sage mode.

Well apparently Orochimaru didn't. That's what Kabuto explained two Itachi and Sasuke.

Sasuke is not going to have a sage mode. Neither will sakura or Tsunade. Look at what the 3 sage modes would be if they existed: Dragon, Toad, and Slug. Naruto being the disciple of J man naturally gets SM. That and hes the protagonist in need of a power boost. Oro was the other person to come in mind, now while he wasn't a sage he was damn close. Now look at his protege, Kabuto. Kabuto is and always has been oros #1. so being the new and improved oro he gets sage mode. The last of the 3 would and should be slug. Im willing to bet that this mode tsunade is in is her last wildcard. now while the slug is all about healing id imagine that you have to have some strength to you too. So once tsunade dies at the hands of Madara, we look at the new and "improved" tsunade, sakura. In no way has she passed granny so no sage mode there.
Now lets look at hawk. Sasuke is and always has been the protege of his brother, indirectly but nonetheless he has been. Now what does he get that makes him the new and improved Itachi? well the ems of coarse. Oh and itachi is going to allow him to see the light of being a protagonist again. but at the cost of itachis life whether it be the same way sasori died or via kabuto itachi is done after this fight.

orochimaru looked for it but he couldn't find it. I doubt tsunade was interested in such a thing,especially since she stopped being a ninja after dan's death (when the 3 of them were still in the Leaf,and they didn't know sagemode yet) and focused on gambling

Don't get your hopes up people. Kishi isn't about to turn this into a Sage Mode gala. There may be another type but its exceptionally rare. Don't start thinking you'll see everyone with a summon start using it.

Isn't the perfect sage mode only supposed to have the eyes of the animal when done perfectly, and imperfectly you turn into the actual animal?
