    Sentence Check

    想い人に葉が八つに分かれたもみじを捧げると恋が実る。
    I don't understand what the part 分かれた are doing here .

    天才子役として昔からテレビに映画に活躍している彼女は国民的な人気を誇る。
    Why does している go with 昔から?

    教えてくださいね。あざっす!

    Re: Sentence check please

    葉が八つに分かれたもみじ "a maple leaf with eight lobes"

    天才子役として "as child actor prodigy", として means "as" and has nothing to do with している

    [昔]から活躍している:
    [TIME] から(ずっと)- している = have/has been -ing since [TIME]

    Re: Sentence Check

    Thanks everyone again and I got a new problem .

    A gamer said:
    教会でのキスをバックにHAPPYENDのドン!!

    Someone translated it as 'A kiss in church with the word happy end behind it', but I think since the 'バック' is verb here, it should be 'We'll back to a kiss in the church when the 'happy end' appears' for more exactly. Am I right or not?

    I think it's the other way around.
    "The word happy end with a kiss in a church in the background"

    バック = background
    Though I'm not sure what exactly "HAPPYENDのドン" means. Is it like "fireworks"?
