Lol, these numbers don't suggest the truth, since the questions are often wrongly prepared, like pairing up crime and deception with manipulation, which makes me back off from most of those arguments.
Also, I don't really get why manipulation needs to be tagged along with personal profit against others. I simply deceive others to kill some time and have fun with them, not to get anything other than that. In my eyes, a true manipulator is one who never tells you a lie, but one who will give you only the piece of truth he wants you to have.

The narcissism aliases optimism. The questions focused on "do you think you can get ahead if you try" without asking "do you think everyone can try". While I hold myself to a high standard and level of respect, I believe that everyone should shoot for that.

The questions about lying were frustrating though. Whether lying is right or wrong is an morally ambiguous area. If you were helping someone in a car crash who was injured and asking about their companion who died on the scene, you don't want to shock them when they are already badly traumatized. If an old man with Alzheimer's goes on a rage when you tell him his wife died years ago, you'd want to tell him instead that she's out on errands.

Lying for the thrill of it, lying because of necessity, and lying to shield someone from harm are very very different motives.
