Mh how do you know Kabuto isn't explaining how nobody he was to Itachi ?

Because he wasn't speaking at the beginning and there was never any transition. This is all self reflection.

This isn't about doing a story time for Itachi and Sasuke this is about giving fans perspective to him calling himself nobody; on account of how Kishi never bothered to do character development for Kabuto, so he's forced to try and do it all here introspectively. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.

Metaphorically, it's like taking a week's worth of medication all a once; not only does it not have the desired effect it is very VERY unhealthy.

I disagree: in volume 28 deidara and sasori are talking about "the guy who sasori sent to orochimaru",and in volume 32 yamato asks kabuto this http://www.mangareader.net/93-295-14...apter-290.html . according to what happened to yura,who was talking against akatsuki and all of a sudden he regained his memory,I think kabuto will do the same: he will turn into sasori's spy again,and then oro will free him

It's not that it was a bad flashback, it just doesn't seem the most appropriate time and it's taking too long. Please, let it be the last one!

I' didn't stop to count, but i bet the last chapters were the least comented in a while.

i was under the impression that Kabuto had met/been kidnaped by Sasori first, before being turned by Oro. But it seems more like Kabuto fell in love with Oro first, i doubt Sasori's mind control jutsu would have broken that love bond...between the two lads.

I can agree with you about the pace but Kishi did some character development, between Kabuto the simple spy towards Kabuto's decision about Sasuke (while Oro was wondering which side he would take => double spy ?), Kabuto healing Hinata, Kabuto's link with Sasori... He is one of the most shadowy character, learning his story before the confrontation against the Uchiha's brothers would dispell all our doubts about his motivations a long time before the war, and we would already know what was in his mind when he came to "help" Tobi in this war.

Not sure what kind of development you're talking about actually.

yeah but I doubt they are there listening to kabuto. I bet neither sasuke nor itachi give a damn about his past,especially about the orphanage's part.maybe if he mentions orochimaru or danzo they will stop and listen,but for now I think it's unlikely.itachi has to end the ET as soon as he can.

Then why Itachi is even bothering to teach him some moral lessons ?

To gain time ? Fine. Kabuto talking about his past helps them to gain that time, so why not ?

I've learned that when you don't expect much from a chapter then you can be satisfied when chapters like this come out. I don't know why people thought the flashbacks would be over. At the very least you can expect two more weeks of this so enjoy them while you have the chance

The problem is the flashback is at a very bad time. To a character who had no one is suddenly developing as if he did (mother, oro, etc...) So I'm finding it hard to be sympathetic. And when there are epic fights in the background (Naruto, Hokage and this), it's a distraction.

This is the first time in a while Bleach was way more interesting than Naruto. I'm quite surprised actually. I remember the olden days when this was the case.

As for next chapter...conclusion to flashback and back to reality? I can't expect the flashback ends here. Izanami not revealed until 2 chapters from now lol...

An OK chapter with some mildly interesting information. We already knew that Orochimaru co-opted Kabuto in his past, so seeing exactly how it happened is interesting but ultimately doesn't tell us much. We also already knew that Danzou and Orochimaru were pals, so again - not much 'new' here. For a full flashback of Kabuto's history, the chapter was necessary but it is clearly a 'bridge' chapter that is spackling more detail onto events we already sort of knew about. Useful - but nothing to really shout about.

What I am hoping is that the Uchiha massacre hasn't happened yet, and that the next chapter shows us THAT information. That would actually be useful, and Kabuto's transition from Danzou/Root to Orochimaru's flunky taking place at such a pivotal time would allow him to let us FINALLY see some of those details. That's where I'm hoping this is ultimately going. It would make this transition chapter bearable in the end.

That sure looks like in introspective transition to me; but I suppose it's possible he's breaking out the slide shows. Though, I'm not sure if that's better or worse.

The thought of Itachi & Sasuke sitting down and having tea and listen to Kabuto's life story while the Kage's are off fighting Super-Madara is a little...

Not sure what kind of development you're talking about actually.

Certainly learning bits of his back-story before now would have taken away some of the mystery but I'd take that over absolutely killing the momentum of a fight by shoehorning all this right in the middle of things. In fact, I would chose no back-story at all over this.

An author ideally wants to add just enough so that when Kabuto says he's "nobody" various things click together and it all makes sense or if he has to add flashback type stuff he doesn't need much to tie it all together.

Flashbacks when used correctly reveal specific information at the perfect time. Unfortunately, manga authors use it as a patch to try and force in things they simply wanted to work into their story but failed to do naturally; which seems to be the case here. The bigger the disparity in character development the longer it takes to fix.
