According to the spoilers , seeing how Kabuto navigates thru his own past , i think he's already in what Izanami means . I think Kabuto will soon. Realize that , maybe in the next chapter ...

In the end it seems that Danzou was indeed the biggest threat Konoha had to bear.

So Kabuto has been hired as a spy (forcefully ?) by Danzou, Oro was one of his ninjas. The young boy, acting as a Stone village ninja killed his "mother" (without knowing it was her, of course) and here began his identity crisis. Then Oro took the opportunity.

Ok, more flashbacks......Great! Alright, I think I need to take like a two week break from Naruto chapters because I really couldn't care less about this fight much less Kabuto's past. I'll check back in when we finally see Izanami or when Sasuke's Dark Side returns and finally betrays Itachi. Otherwise I honestly couldn't care less about current events.

Sigh...WTF KISHI! We all know you love the Uchihas so just let the 2 brother wtf-pawn Kabuto already then we can move on to some other real fights!

This year so far has had disappointing chapters. I mean narutos and the kages fight was exciting every chapter for me, every since this uchiha fight I have been dissapointed. I might take a two or three week break myself

I just can't believe you didn't expect additionnal flashbacks seeing how it ended last week.

Kishi's style since chapter 1. Naruto is not just some kind of arena where there is one battle after another just like that.

Anyway, as I said before, Kabuto has the potential to bring us a lot of interesting intel about the plot itself (or past plots). If he has to be totally defeated (or die), it is simply the only moment where the flashback can be shared now.

Personally, I'm excited to see more of Kabuto's flashback, especially if it'll show us exactly what was going on between Orochimaru and Danzo. We never actually got to learn what the two of them were up to or just how close they were working together.

Yea i know its not suppose to be battle after battle, but it could at least be interesting flash back. Plus it's not really the flash back, it is just uneventful and nothing seems to be happening. before the flashbacks began I was disappointed how this fight was going.

I do like to orochimaru and danzou tho so it won't be too bad

I don't have a problem with flashbacks, well i do somewhat when we have fights as big as Madara vs Kages and Naruto&co vs Tobi when Tobi is going to lose his mask but the problem is Kabuto, i just hate that caracter, its like fodder to me and giving me multiple chapters with his flashbacks is just uhhhh. If Sasuke and Itachi had a flashback togeder i would have whent with it.

Ooh this is interesting. I thought Kabuto's flashback was gonna be uninteresting and poorly executed but from the spoiler alone, seeing how he's twisted by not one but two power-hungry arses, Orochimaru and Danzo, and how "mother" doesn't recognise him... ow that's has got to hurt, having your surrogate roots pulled out like that. I actually pity the guy now, a bit more.

I'm reminded of the last time Kabuto was actually struggling between good/bad guy at the start of the Naruto series during the chuunin exams. He tried to kill Sasuke to prevent Orochimaru from taking Sasuke's body, in a way to stop Orochimaru. I thought he'd really have something good left in him, even though it's black as hell, but that's the last time we see that side of Kabuto. That side is so gone now, so I hope the Uchiha brothers put him out of his ~~indecisive~~ misery.

Now that I think about it, Kabuto's character is very similar to another glasses-wearing villain from Saiyuki... come to think of it, a lot of megane characters tend to end up like this.

finally orochimaru! and wow,there's danzo too there.yet,I want sasori to be there! I hope kishi will follow the chronological path in this flashback,because kabuto's past was said to be with sasori before than with oro.

Ugh... and we still aren't one bit closer to giving Kabuto a real goal or motive and we're even further from making me care at all about him.

Couldn't Kishi have at least had the courtesy to wait until the fight was over before wasting a month on this crap?

The chapter was actually enjoyable!Aside from the fact that Kishi seems to have forgotten about Sasori,seeing Kabuto's past and his struggle with his identity was intriguing.
