Most disappointing fight in naruto and why?

well we hava see alot of fight in the war and in the past.

but what fight you didnt like front the start or the out come of it. or you think it was pointless.

to me it was naruto vs kakuzu.
it was stupid cause i was hoping for kakashi to play a big roll in the end. since he was doing all the fight.
but naruto come and got kakuzu like if kakuzu was a rookie. i mean the first time naruto hit him with RS was a warning,
second time. how he didnt feel the RS air pressure behind him.

also i dont know if this thread was make before. if it was create. someone plz tell me and i delete this one and i post to the one who created it.
dont ask me the first two reason why i read and watch, ONEPIECE & NARUTO

the worst fight was Asuma VS his team in volume 56. it was useless, imo. meaningless flashbacks about choji's past ,which were very boring! stupid actions of choji who didn't want to fight.that really slowed the manga down, imo.

Sakura vs. Ino... they had their fight at least 7 years too early and there was way too much clothing and way too little baby-oil being used.

I agree just because your post is funny ,I think first fights were boring too,but they were important to build characters' behaviour and feelings, and to make us aware of their past. unlike the most recent, who aren't useful anymore,so they must be cool!

If you don't like or care for Choji, then you wouldn't like that fight. It actually took a lot of guts for Kishi to focus on Choji. A character very few like and many hate. I just didn't care for the development and thought it was odd that Shikamaru, who unlike Choji had a strong bond with Asuma, had little reaction to the fight.

As for most disappointing fight? A lot of them really. I love strategic fights, and we rarely see any of them now. It's about who has the biggest hax now.

Hiruzen vs Edo Hokage and Orochimaru

Back then it was not disappointing, but now with the power ups, that fight could be so much more, since it was supposed to be one of the Highest Level fights up to date.

I don't blame Kishimoto at all, because he probably wasn't sure of what to do back then, but Narutoverse wise, that was quite desappointing, Hiruzen and Hashirama are too much hyped.

Honestly, for me it's a tie between Hanzo vs Mifune, and Sasori vs Kankuro rematch. Mostly because both are littered with plot driven bullshit.
And then they all died, the end!

i agree in the fight btw hanzo vs mifure. i mean he was the one who the 3 sanin didnt have a change against him. who was say to be fast with hes jutsu. and some low samurai. who i dont think hes strong cause sasuke could beat him easy anyday.
ohhh i wont let you use your jutsu, im too fast for you.

that fight got me mad. cause it the past j-man comment him to be a really strong ninja. we didnt have a kage level to take him down. but some samurai out of nowhere..
i understand kishi want to show him to be a strong new character. but plz dont over do it.

    Totally agree.

For me it was Tenten VS Temari. I watched in the anime at first when I was a young kid and was thinking yeah, awesome.
But then I read the manga to it just last year. What happened was... I turned the page and it said Tenten VS Temari, I turned the page just one more time and Tenten was unconcious... -_-
I couldnt believe it. She has been fodder since he intro. After she was all confident when seen before the fight during the forest and what not, that fight was disappointing.

obviously it depends on how much you like a fight or not,a character or the type of fight. that's why there can't be a winner here, but these are just opinions

Useless? It was the one time where Ino was shown competent in battle and actually proved her worth. That alone made it worthwhile.

The most disappointing fight for me was the one involving the Seven Swordsmen, because we were promised an awesome battle and the whole thing ended up being skipped. I would have loved seeing them in action.

I agree. To me the most disappointing battles were the overhyped and promising ones that were offpaneled. I was always annoyed that since Zabuza was mentioned we never knew anything of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Then, they get resurrected and what happens? Nothing.

I would've liked to also see at least some more panels of Kimimaro owning a bunch of samurai. I would've been happy with just that, but no.

Also, when Rock Lee blocks Haku with the Konoha Senpuu i was overjoyed. I was like "yes! Rock Lee gets some more time in the spotlight and what an awesome battle! Lee vs. a genius! With a kekkai genkai like Neji!" Nope. Didn't happen.

Dan's justu was so damn overhyped and he didn't even show it. It didn't even happen offpanel. It just never happened. Why was Dan even resurrected? Tsunade didn't fight him. Tsunade didn't even talk to him. He just got detained.

I mean, I could go on. But not many other fights come to mind at the moment.

personally everything's disappointing except for the sharingan and rinnegan users' fights

naruto - after heaps of training and mental growth, he still becomes an idiot whenever kishi wants to raise a character's capability in the eyes of the readers. look at the itachi and naruto vs nagato fight. i know kishi wanted to show how senior and smart itachi is, but come on...
neji - what the hell happened to the genius jonin, being the first to fall down in war?
    shino - ???
choji - turned into a blabbering idiot even as a chuunin just because kishi wanted to contrast his growth before-after. oh come on! a hesitant puncher became a chuunin?
nagato - someone probably mentioned this before. entrusts everything in naruto and kills himself doing so purely because naruto shouts 'trust me' loudly. nagato had a plan. naruto had none. the way he naively trusted naruto doesn't seem at all like someone who's seen the world's darkest depths and survived to take action.
    etc.

    basically everyone!

Re: Most disappointing fight in naruto and why?

The fights I hate are fights that aren't fights, but rather... predicaments.

Any fight where one of the opponents is either:

    Holding back
    Dying from illness
Hindered thanks to the opponent knowing all (or the majority of) their secrets
    Hindered trying to protect allies

Well, I guess I don't HATE them. I just hate the outcome because there's rarely any full on evidence of superiority between the characters. Though if we're being specific, I wasn't a fan of the Naruto vs. Kakuzu fight. This was the fight where Naruto "surpassed" Kakashi? The fight where he took out an opponent who'd already lost the majority of his strength and had one foot in the grave? And he won the fight with a basic bait-and-switch, the exact god damn move anyone that knows how to use KB can perform. But THIS makes him superior to a genius armed with 1000 jutsu and an infinitely higher intellect? Whatever.

she competent? I disagree,I already saw that when she fought kakuzu.and the remaining part was too boring. about the 7 swordsmen,I wouldn't consider that a fight, since the manga didn't show it...
