The Elder's not that intelligent. It took him losing all of Cerberus and getting overpowered to realize that Crombell had led him into a trap. Plus, he's desperate, as he's getting owned, but it looks like Rai just told him to kneel.

I'm just mentioning, Clearly Franky or Rai could wipe the floor with the Elder and Rai is in no real danger, but he is still on proverbial bedrest. He went all out against the Lord, not to mention the times he saved the children. Only an idiot would think Rai could be defeated by an opponent, but if he gets involved in every boss fight, he will kill himself. That is why, I personally would prefer to watch Franky show the Elder the error of attacking Rai.

Besides, as cool as it is when Rai fights, it goes by way to quickly. I remember reading on some other manga forum someone said "if your main character is god, you'd better have some really interesting supporting characters". That's generally my opinion on Rai fighting.

Nah, not really a downer. That is actually realistic given Rai's situation right now. As much as he wants to help the others, I believe he has a sense to be careful of his condition as well. In addition to it, Frank didn't permit him to sweat even little bit. As fangirls (and fanboys maybe, LOL~) I would really love to see Rai fighting again, but I also understand the circumstance, which is just too bad.

I like that quote, and I think it applies well with Noblesse, Samael1105.

Well, if the authors want Rai to get even weaker, they'll let him play around a bit and then say it worsened. If they don't intend on doing that just yet, they'll let him play around and say it didn't worsen. And if they want Franky to get all dark and awesome and strangle the elder, they'll do that.

Whatever they do, I'll be squeeeeing like a fangirl

The authors put the shackles on Rai for the very reason stated. If he's all powerful, then there's no point in the story. This basically means that the manga will end with Rai giving up his life to save his nakama (probably against Crombell). In the meanwhile, everyone else around him will power up just enough to struggle with the next set of villains.

Am I the only one who thinks that that Nobleese and Breaker NW almost have a similar ending pattern for this week's episode? Maybe I'm just having a golden week syndrome. Good thing there are lots of good manhuas to overcome it.

Can't wait on Frank's reaction on this one lol. M-21, Regis and Sera's reaction are almost face palm. Poor Gollum.

233 Trans / summary

The chapter starts off with the elder surprised that Frank also had a hidden card; the death spear (that's what it's called right?). He thinks to himself that it doesn't matter though since the power he received from Roctis-nim (Korean equivalent of "San", if I'm correct, I'm not that good with my Jap).

Frank then tells the elder "Roctis that bastard, he's in the union right now... After betraying everyone the place he chose to went is the Union?" The elder asks what kind of relationship Frank has with Roctis, to this Frank answers "Relationship... There isn't much. Only somebody that I must kill." By this reply Mr. Batty Elder get's pissed off and yells 'How dare you" and attacks Frank.

As expected Frank kick's serious ass, by this the two KSA agents are surprised while M21 and Regis are unfazed. (they were once the victims of his powers lol). In the panel where Frank his holding the elder's neck up high, he says "What is this? Is this all the power you got from Roctis?". By this mocking the KSA agents wonder the identity of Frank.

But as Franky was about to finish off the elder Rai calls out to Frank, by this everyon's attention goes towards Rai. During this time the elder takes Rai as hostage. The KSA agents call him a coward, while Regis/M21/Seira are ".....".

The final panel has the elder yelling, "After observing your reactions, I think I got the right hostage! You idiots how dare you sell your attention away against an opponent like me! MUAHAHAAHH". By this Rai just "sighs"....

Damm what I was missing, when i didn't read this series for a few weeks, but after I started reading again, I just couldn't stop untill it was all over...

Yonsu and Sangeen once dangerous to the kids are now like they would be in hell itself and they would be looking devils fight themselve...

Hiii, Seira's death scythe can even cut sky apart...

Also Franky is at it again, just looking him going at elder and making holes in the ground is fantastic feeling...

The authors of Noblesse manage to pull me in every time. I like it, I love it, I'm simply impressed...

Sorry for squeeing almost like a girl, but it's just so awsome to see a fight between people in high positions(the art suddenly becomes even more impresive, especially because it's colorful). Also Franky is still a class of his own, I belive he really has fun right now...

For the latest chapter, I must say as for picking/choosing a hostage that elder has just acquired, that this is the biggest mistake the elder has done in his 'entire life' untill now...
