    Re: Godric's Hollow

If it's anything like Shadow of the Colossus, the wait will be worth it. I remember seeing a trailer for it years ago. Something about a giant bird-like creature who's your friend or something. Imagine flying on the back of that thing over a world even larger than what we saw in SoC

I've only played Mario Bros on it so far. It's pink. Still waiting for my sister to play the Yugioh and harry potter games she has for it. XD What are your top three games for Gameboy Color?

Yeah I don't even know why I said HPB anyway. I don't really like short hand at all. I steer away from using it and then get really annoying with people that abuse it. I just don't think it's that hard to type out the entire word. And it makes things so much more clear and concrete. blah.

They'll also add scenarios which were never in the movies as well, since the length of a video game is usually always many times longer than a movie. Not everything in a book would be exciting to play either.
The Lego games follow the books more than the movies. That's they're best quality. But... I don't know. It just feels sort of silly being a lego jumping around all over the place. Not the sort of thing I would really want for a Harry Potter game. The lego games use actual spells too, as opposed to the later movie games. You can certainly tell the movie Harry Potter game developers have never so much as read a page in one of the novels. They still have redeeming qualities though.

You have a giant bird in Skyward Sword too. I love that barddddd. I love jumping off of the island in the sky and free falling until I call him. Can't believe I'm almost through the the game.

I'm going to be Link for Halloween and my littler sister is going to be Zelda. Bitchin'

And I don't know how, but she convinced me to take her trick-or-treating. And my older sister said "Oh, you wouldn't make a good Link!"

    Re: Godric's Hollow

Um, Pokemon I guess. I've mostly played Pokemon though I've had other games and remember playing them. Pokemon Card Trading Game, any color version of the RPG game, and Yu-Gi-Oh are all I remember playing fo' sho.

Mario Bros on GBC? O_o Interesting concept.

Well you were texting and said it in the same sentence you abbreviated it ...just not paying attention maybe? I understand wanting to abbreviate things in that case, but I'm the same way...

The Lego games are pretty much all characteristic. People fall apart like Lego dudes, weird and goofy noises. But I agree with it being silly...there's something cute about it. I've played Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones and it's interesting. I wouldn't buy them though I don't think.

Yeah I saw, but this bird/griffin thing is a lot larger I believe.

Well...like any Zelda game it has to have a ton of re-playability. Especially if you like it enough

Already deciding on Halloween costumes ...well you missed out last year, can't blame you in that case

Is she still young enough to go trick-or-treating? ...if you're a guy you have to be wearing a masked costume when you get to a certain age to stay anonymous for the free candy. Girls just have to have a nice costume

Why would you not be a good Link? I think it would work.

Here is a trailer for The Last Guardian if you're curious about the bird-like creature:

It's like a manbearpig thingy, right?

IIRC, the creature won't listen to you at first until you built enough trust with him.

Yeah, I read that he can be hostile until that point. I hope there's more flying and stuff though

That thing is really creepy. My first thought was chihuahua with wings and chiseled off horns. The graphics are really good, but I don't even have a PlayStation. Not gonna go buy one.

    Re: Godric's Hollow

It does sort of look like a chihuahua now that you mention it. I don't think it's creepy, but it is unique looking

If it's as good as Ico or Shadow of the Colossus, I might buy a PS3. There are a bunch of other games that are worth getting it for, but it'll be the icing on the cake.

The Ocarina of Time game I bought doesn't work. Fucking eBay. Let's see how difficult it is for me to get a refund now...

Weird ...at least with discs you can see why it might not play if it's all scratched up. How much did you pay for it? Or was it that you bought MM with it as well?

    Re: Godric's Hollow

I actually bought it along with Majora's Mask and Donkey Kong 64 as a three-lot set. I used my credit card to pay for it like anything else. I actually looked at the bottom of the cartridge and there's some visible wear on the bottom. It's not obvious, but you can see it. I don't have an expansion pak yet, so I couldn't test the other twp games, but if one of the games doesn't work, I want to send the entire set back and get all of my money back. I don't want Ocarina of Time if I can't have Majora's Mask with it.

I sent him a message telling him the situation the exact day the package arrived (rather banged up I might add), and his almost immediate response was "are you sure your console works? What about the other games, did they work?" That kind of bothered me, but I answered politely saying "Yes. My console works with other games. And like I mentioned... I didn't test the other ones since my expansion pak hasn't arrived yet..." So I can already tell it's going to be a huge effort to get my money back. When you list that something is in "Very good" condition, I automatically assume that means it actually fucking works. Who the hell sells something like that without even testing it first? Jesus

    Re: Godric's Hollow

Ah yeah...I hadn't realized that MM used the expansion pack too . It looks like one could be bought easily. I actually got mine from my cousin since he already had one and didn't need the one that came with Star Wars Rogue Squadron.

It's eBay though, so one should expect anything. Did the seller have a good history? If he does and this happened it was just a mistake on his part I would think. Otherwise he could just be a ripoff artist. My Dad actually bought a replacement golf club once and the seller sent him the wrong one, but because it wasn't worth it to ship it back he just sent him the correct one and told him to keep the wrong one.
