It s pretty much all about Akraptor fighting the creepy Fat Lady. It seems like the little girl hadn't let the woman in, at the end of the last chapter like I thought (now confirmed). The chap end with Rapdevil having a visitor. Personaly, I think it's one of the rich brat "helpers" come to help forming the team, ignorant that Rich Brat isn't there.

The chapter was kind of short, plus we didn't see anything else, just more of this boring test. The test, in theory, is interesting, but it really just boils down to a bunch of uber-short fights between insignificant characters. It's not like the Floor of Test final test, which, while it did use the same fighting idea, was done so much better.

I don't agree, in that I don't think these characters are insignificant and here's why....

Baam has undergone a transformation, which is probably temporary, into a strong but emotionally distant character. At first glance I think people's impression of such characters tends to be "OMG he's such a badass now!" but the sad truth about that is that it's narrative equivalent of empty calories. Emotional substance is something that has been completely lacking from Baam thus far(probably for the sake of being mysterious, but who knows) and emotional substance is generally Tower of God's best feature.

Which is one of the main reasons I've been a vocal critic of presenting his character this way. Baam relating to others and others relating to him is pretty much the selling point of the series for me. So Baam "cutting himself off from others" didn't seem like a recipe for anything good; unless your looking for Bleach-type action-fanservice experience.

Focusing on the 7 that are going to end up going up with Baam is how Tower of God is dodging that issue. They are the stars of this particular arc, not Baam; sure he'll add some flashy fanservicy stuff now and again but the emotional and story content is all from characters like Wangan, Yeon, and Arkraptor.

For this arc they are the protagonists.

Yeah, it would seem that Baam is using this game to test the devil guy. I would assume Baam thinks Yeon is a leecher as he just walked past her when she was in full attack mode. lol.

Your reasoning isn't really sound, no offense. Leeching usually tends to be used in connotation as benefiting from others. In this scenario it would mean those who ascend the tower through the actions of others. And obviously Yeon, Raptor, and Teddy aren't in this class. The same most likely can't be said for Prince, Glasses, and Young Girl. But with plot armor they might move on due to "luck."

LOL i loved that part with Miseng and Akraptor Really funny . Akraptor's reactions were I really love this character and it seems he has a very sad past . Then he's perfect to become Baam's teammate
I was so happy when he teached that disgusting woman a lesson . I have to say i was surprised Miseng didn't open the door ...i was sure she would at the end of the last chapter . I guess she didn't trust that hag deep down .

Can't wait for the next chapter to se who reached Rapdevil's room . Could it be Baam ?

Oh, my, Akraptor seems so... human. He must have been driven to coldness and anger because of his past, and had closed himself tight since then. Miseng had opened that door... Very sweet of him to stay with Miseng, played a game, and fought with that fat lady. Interesting battle, I don't doubt he would win from the looks of it so far, but I want to see more. <3

I wonder what is happening with the others~
