Mine would have to be, Fujoshi Kanojo (My Girlfriend's a geek)
The artwork is wonderful! And their relationship is absolutely funny and cute, it always makes me happy when I see her go on about how cute he looks in his butlers outfit. ^^
I read that too! I have a fujoshi friend, which is why I was interested in it and introduced it to said friend.
Hilarious, especially the way she insistently calls him (uke) Sebas and is jealous if her bf is with another guy...
The relationship is beautiful in a way, because the guy are very patient and can really cope up with all the weirdness of his girlfriend. She really loves him too, shown by her jealousy.
Oh, and he looks terrific when he wears glasses and undone shirt.
I just hope that it doesn't end up that fast.
Well coming from a guy I have to say he looks handsome, and I find it so cute when she calls him Sebasu. ^^
My fav. would be Dengeki Daisy i guess . Though the releases are killing me but i like the story . It's kind of unique and it's about a hacker so it's better
Sure anything with hackers and cute characters always kicks ass!
All time favorite shoujo.. would probably be Cardcaptor Sakura. I feel like I can never get bored of it, with the humor, romance, and magical adventure accompanied by magic cards. XD As for josei, hard to say as I don't read as many... Not even the popular Nodame Cantabile. XD
Unfortunately many shoujo and josei series releases are slow, so good series in the beginning, but I ended up losing interest and the hype because of the waiting period between each chapter. >__<
My all time favorite is probably Paradise Kiss. I really enjoyed the artwork, the fashion, the characters, and mostly the story. Nodame Cantabile was also very cute <3.
That must be "Marmalade Boy" - both the manga and the anime, really touching story.
My favorite Shoujo is Princess Knight by Osamu Tezuka and my favorite Josei is Nodame Cantabile with Ooku:The Inner Chambers as a very close second.
Adding one more to my favorite all time shoujo: Akagami no Shirayukihime. One of the best series I've ever read. Simple but developed properly. It leaves deep impression of the characters and you just can't help loving them all in all their traits. And obviously because the male lead is just super charming. <3
I'll check it out on Monday. Thanks for the recommendation! ^^
Many, but my all time favorite is Candy Candy by Kyoko Mizuki.
One of the reasons I like this series so much is because it wasn't just about a girl trying to find a boyfriend. We see Candy's journey through life as a small child living in an orphanage to an adult who becomes a nurse and serves in WWI and tries to make the best out of life.
It's funny, melodramatic, romantic and Romantic, sad, surprising, has mature themes. I just love it.
I just wish I could own a remastered version of the anime.

Ow, I can't decide on one.. I have so much mangas that i rate 10/10 and for me those are my all time favorites.. I'll give them all then..
For Shoujo/Josei: Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, Cheese in The Trap(this one is korean webtoon but really good!), Candy Candy, Shuukatsu!! Kimi ni Naitei, Chihayafuru, 7 Seeds, Basara, Kanojo no Namida ga Yuki da Toshitara (oneshot), Hajimari no Niina, and some more I forgot..
Those are my favorite of all time, they're all complete so i could objectively rated them, with exception for Chihayafuru, 7 Seeds and Cheese in The Trap, that despite being ongoing, they caught my attention so much.. I love them all, especially the plot, try them..
nice series, everyone! I can't believe I didn't spot this thread earlier...
I love the "all time" addition to it, because we have current favorites, but all-time just means they've hit it home with our hearts and we remember them most, and we like to get back to them from time to time.
In no particular order, I'd have to go with NANA, Paradise Kiss, Fruits Basket, Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (Karekano), and Kimi wa Petto.
Nodame Cantabile was memorable too (and one of my favorite dramas) but fell short on maybe the art? When you compare them to the art of those I mentioned above... but the dramas are awesome
Ran to Haiiro no Sekai has great potential (like, I really really love this one too!) but since there are so few chapters out, I still can't put it on my all-time lists.
